Who knows. It’s just as likely that agents see the needs that are still out there and are trying to convince the Oregon players to enter the portal.

I think it's fair to say that it's paying off for Texas Tech as well... That program is nowhere near where it is now with the transfer portal, NIL and Campbell's ability to spend millions to buy a competitor.

Another year in a different program might help his draft status. Then again he'll have a hard time finding a team that relies on passing more than the one he's on.

Ironically I think Arch is underrated right now. He played a lot better when the line gelled at the end of the year and he wasn’t running for his life

In asense bc that JV line coupled with a rudimentary running game was a recipe for disaster for 90% of the QB population. If 3200yds a 4-1 ratio and 400yds rushing and another 10 TDs is a disappointment considering what he had to play with then I don't know what to tell ya!

A lot of this is no different than at Notre Dame. Starters getting a raise to stay in the fold, at the cost of depth losing cash... That depth then jumps in the portal to see if theh can get starter money / reps elsewhere.

I think they'd take either one. They're desperate and they know they can't miss out on a QB. I expect them to get Leavitt, but if they somehow don't and Simpson stays in the draft, they will throw out a stupid offer for Raiola.

I was under the impression they could but I've seen contradictory info on that. Also seems like anyone can enter the portal whenever anyway so who really knows.

There is no longer special rules for grad transfers. They need to be in the portal the same time as anyone else.

However, players are not required to enter the portal to transfer. Xavier Lucas successfully unenrolled from Wisconsin and enrolled at Miami outside of the portal window. Doing that just requires back channeling/ tampering, which is where the problems come in.
