I have refrained from commenting because I didn't want to be labeled a bedwetter.🤣🤣 I have attempted to give the coaching staff the benefit of the doubt as to why we haven't had any transfer commits. I would like to throw out these hypotheticals that have been running through my mind the past week. Forgive me if I repeat what another poster has already said. I am not as committed as the previous post in going through the last 14 pages. 😜. I will label these hypotheticals as a, b,c, etc
A. Did the coaching staff and/or recruiting staff underestimate the market for transfers this year?
B. Did the cfp leaving us out of the playoffs have a negative effect on our potential for transfer players?
C. Did the decision that Notre Dame made to not play in a bowl game have a negative effect on our potential for transfer players?
D. Did Notre Dame overspend on existing players thus affecting our ability to pay the market price for transfer portal players? I find this one difficult to believe because of the deep pockets that are attached to the University.
I want to reiterate that these are only ideas that have been bouncing around in my head. I have no direct ties to the university except for my love for the football program since I was a small child. My grandfather and my father were Union bricklayers who put their blood, sweat and tears into many of the buildings including touchdown Jesus. So I don't want to leave the notion that I have any inside information. I look forward to the comments and conversation if any that this post creates. Go Irish.

I have much more faith in MF closing in the portal than I do my Tide. We passed dysfunctional about week six this year.

I am canvassing every trailer park between Tuscaloosa and Mobile looking for some big nasties. Right now I have Bertha from Bessemer and Latifa from Lanett scheduled to visit Monday. Bertha will have to play inside but Latifa got some long arms so left tackle could be taken care of.

No one had any clue who we signed until the student directory for the Spring came out. One or 2 guys posted something on X, no one else said a word and then we got a list of all of them.
