FWIW Brewu is the #5 DL in the portal on 247 and Gilliam is #4. Both have 2 years of eligibility, and Brewu has a bunch of big names after him. He'd be a good pick up.

Not necessarily it's quite a few 5*/top 50 players with 3* grades such as Nelson and Rashada. No what we pretend is that the dorks who are trying to put out content know it’s easy bait to throw out “Portal Rankings” like they’re gospel despite the fact they watch zero film. So if a 5-star is in the portal, he’s still given a high grade as if he’s still 5-star level quality. Evidently talent evaluation is a lost art
Need another contributor IF you want to talk about a title run.In this scenario- you feel fine with the hope that Burgess or aother underclassmen emerge as a star.
What? Me personally, I would trust the people who can't spell Rees or Keeley before I believe that Freeman or Day or Sark know what they're doing.Pretending to know something you dont know is a fool’s errand. In high school recruiting all the kids are at least transparently available at the same time. For alk we know the top of their board could be Keeley, or a kid who hasnt even publicly entered yet. Could they get burned if that is their approach? Absolutely, but reality is people are stating as fact things they have no actually knowledge about and throwing tantrums over it, and its stupid and pointless.
Nothing will ever be perfect but MF has earned my trust at this point.
If anyone knew, the post count in this thread would be decreased by 95%Is that because they think they'll strike out?

And anxiously awaiting the spring roster weight for Cole Mullins - still think he has Mills-type frame and size potentialNot mad. Not happy.
Basically banking on a Sevillano or Mukam breakout
Is Hughes still on the roster? Either way, that's not all that great. Could be worse, but not a rotation to get excited about and almost certainly not a rotation you could win a Natty with.Mukam

NMSU DL
I just can't see any way he gets the waiver. He played in more than 4 regular season games.I also don’t really want to bank on an onye waiver.
If he signs, I would have to think he would be the first Sierra Leone native to play for ND.
Where do you think Bruce Almighty was getting his insider info from??Per Wiltfong
Keeley is believed to be a ND lean. Miami and OSU showing interest as well.
Gilliam believed to be a Tennessee lean. ND increasing focus on Brewu. According to him we are still looking at the Utah DE Daley.
Just learned Grok can read through the paywalls. I am become insider.
Not sure about Sierra Leone...but ND has a track record with Nigeria...Well that's a relief, it was the one thing we needed this portal season.

I dont believe the NCAA has EVER been kind to us with waivers...always seem to be against us in these types of scenarios vs hearing how liberal they are as it applies to other schools. I still recall the Vanderdoes situation...I just can't see any way he gets the waiver. He played in more than 4 regular season games.
Confused here as it looks like he's already played 5 years unless he's trying to get his JuCo years back.
How did they justify denying Coan? That didn't seem to be a huge reach.I dont believe the NCAA has EVER been kind to us with waivers...always seem to be against us in these types of scenarios vs hearing how liberal they are as it applies to other schools. I still recall the Vanderdoes situation...
He’s listed at 260 lbs on espn page. No thanks?
Blanket waiver for JUCO kids in response to the Pavia lawsuit gives him an extra year.Confused here as it looks like he's already played 5 years unless he's trying to get his JuCo years back.
