I have to imagine the migration of college coaches going to the NFL is going to continue in the years to come. It's crazy to have to manage a roster this way every year at the college level, and the lower you are on the food chain, the worse it's going to be to try and survive. It is a fair question to wonder how the G5 and FCS will be able to sustain programs.

ND is Fortunate to have gotten Charlie Partridge with that being said. I figured he went to the Colts because he'd had enough.
If you were working for Nardouchie you’d have headed to the NFL too.

De Freitas is fine, but I have to think that ND will be trying to shoot for someone better. Butkowski, the Pitt kicker, for example, would be a guy that interests me!
1000%. The Pitt kicker or northwestern kicker are both higher takes. Give me one of them please. Plus Brewu, Gilliam, Keeley, Graham and Porter. 😃

I'm ready to be crushed....Can ND actually get the ink to dry on:

Keeley
Graham
Gilliam
Brewu

State your odds. I'm not optimistic, but still hopeful.

Don’t get your hopes up on Gilliam at all. No reason to believe the CBs to Tennessee aren’t accurate.

I’d put Keeley 75%
Graham 60%
Brewu 40%
Gilliam 10%

JMO bases off the reporting we’ve gotten. Brewu really no idea but put 40% because ND has to eventually get somebody.

Based on nothing but vibes, I would say better than 80% for Keeley, over 50% for Graham, and zero clue on the last 2. I do find it curious that Gilliam hasn't announced one way or the other. Brewu is supposed to visit today.

Based off nothing but IE updates

Keeley - 70%
Graham - 50%
Gilliam - 35%
Brewu - 20%

May be the case, but then why wouldn’t he have announced it yet? Something is clearly holding it up. As many have said, this could have been his agents leaking it to try to get more out of ND. The crystal ball was at 7:52am yesterday…while Gilliam was still at ND. I’m not getting my hopes up, but I’m also not writing him off.

Matt Freeman finally starting to talk.

John Henry Daley likely never got an offer from ND. Felt he wasn't enough given injury.

Gilliam hasn't given his commitment to ND or TN yet.

I said yesterday the CBs were likely agent driven. After more thought, it could also have been more Tennessee driven to see if it would A) scare ND off from getting too aggressive if he’s going to Tenn, or B) make ND go more aggressive, allowing Brewu to fall to Tennessee.

As of last night, there was still a lot of optimism on the Tennessee side. Maybe they’re misreading it. With how the portal has gone, I’m hoping for a pleasant surprise.

Yeah fully prepping myself for the "ND was the bridemaid" for all of these guys. "Player X used ND to get a better offer from his first choice."

Tale as old as time.

I'm fully convinced, probably wrong but, that everybody else plays ball totally different than us in this NIL thing. Honestly, no matter what offer we make to Graham or any WR somebody else will offer more. Whatever offer we make is probably a good offer, but I get strong Billy Bean Moneyball vibes that we're going to be outbid. Simply telling the kid that this is a "good offer" isn't going to cut it with a lot of these dudes in the portal. They're going to go where they make the most money, especially if there's an agent/uncle involved.

Things aren't as bad as they seem. Some struggles inside the recruiting office. Martin has been working tail off, being asked to do too much. Says Carter is the man. Said offers are close to being on par with everyone, but don't believe upping the ante is necessary.

Indiana did Notre Dame flat out dirty in regards to Marsh. ND took him at his word and was damn near a done deal for a month.

Many holes to jump through when it comes to transferring into ND. Can't just say "hey, be here next week."

Foley asked for stupid money. ND, said go back home.

Money is not the issue. Have 60+ million to spend.

All in all, source said Lax is pretty much spot on with his posts. So kudos to him.

He said things are looking up, but have to close. Roster will be fine. They are learning from mistakes in regards to portal recruiting. Pretty much can't take anyone for their word right now. Wild wild west

FWIW, "insider" on Volnation expects Gilliam to commit to Tennessee today or tomorrow.

Sounds more like Marsh did ND dirty.
