Must've been what triggered the Crystal Ball to Tennessee. If he didn't commit to us while on campus.....I agree he's gone for sure

Because they have 16 graduating starters and are only returning 6 projected starters. Therefore, the overwhelming majority of their Rev Share + NIL money is being freed up. By comparison, ND is returning 15 starters (16 if Onye gets a waiver) and a slew of guys like Otting, Absher, Ausberry, Sneed and Talich, that they had to pay good money so that they would be willing to stay and play in rotation.

This isn't a difficult concept. It's no different than professional free agency. If team A has $100 million coming off their "cap" because of expiring contracts, you now have that money to spend on the free agency market. If team B has $20 million coming off their "cap" because their contracts aren't, expiring, they're going to have substantially less money to spend than team A does.
Yes but the starting points should also be vastly different,… it’s not the same starting lines,… that’s like saying North Texas has more money than UT because they lost more players.

How in the fuck does Indiana have more money to play with??? That’s mind boggling to me
Cook Medical is probably behind some of this. IU also has a lot of graduates who are doctors, then you have that Cuban guy.

Mark Cuban has an extraordinary amount of money.

I heard ND donors do too, we have not yet seen that similarly put to use.

Just went through 13 pages just to feel like I wasted my time other than seeing boobies on one commnet.

Brother, that was the Patron Saint of this board.

We should all be so blessed to wade though 13 pages of horseshit for a glimpse.

It is my understanding that up until very recently, Cuban hadn't given so much as a nickel to Indiana Football. Now he's pouring money into it like never before?

Is this accurate?

Cuban likes attention. Indiana football didn't generate any before.

I also wouldn't assume that Cuban's $ is the difference maker, but I'm sure he's happy to give people that impression.

IU has one of the largest alumni bases in the country and there's obviously a lot of enthusiasm right now. There's also not going to be much donor fatigue as compared to a Texas or Ohio State.

Driskell on his live show said that he's very confident from what he's hearing that some "deals have been worked out" they just haven't been made public.
What’s the vibe on believing this? For those who pay closer attention to insiders,…

To piggyback off this...he also said he's not sure whether they're good players or if we should be excited cause he doesn't know who they are

WTF guys. We're getting worked so hard in the portal, this thread is devolving into an IU-donor guessing game cesspool?

I've had 3 anticlimactic check-ins today.
