Um, IU # ND are programs that are fundamentally built differently. IU absolutely has to nail the portal because their HS classes are ranked in the 50's & 60's.Turns out the school that’s gone 25-2 built largely on transfers is good at the transfer portal.
That’s the whole point of having and offering a lot of $$$ plus having freeman as a head coach. It sure as hell isn’t for his Xs and Os. Very few portal players are going to a spot because that’s where they truly want to be. It’s for the $$, coach(es), exposure, opportunity.Maybe some of these guys just don’t want to go to Notre Dame?
Fingers crossed and prayers being sent upHopefully Notre Dame lands a few guys tomorrow.
You are the EvilleIrish of Koon's.That’s the whole point of having and offering a lot of $$$ plus having freeman as a head coach. It sure as hell isn’t for his Xs and Os. It’s a joke we didn’t have players lined up to be on campus this weekend. We declined a bowl and had all the time in the world. It’s not over by any stretch but they better land 2 very good DTs, a very good WR, and a very good nickel.
Remember, the staff already failed with Billy not coming back this off season.
There are going to be bigger fish pop up. We "won the portal" out of the gates a year or 2 ago and then all the sudden bigger names leaped in. It's going to be a wild couple of weeks. You’d think our coaching staff was still getting back from vacation today if it wasn’t for freeman’s local altercation yesterday. Maybe it’s a staycation currently? Way to win the portal opening weekend!
I’ve been positive minus gray lately. We were by all accunts the one to beat for marsh and ibirogba. We lost marsh, and it doesn’t sound as positive now for ibirogba. You are the EvilleIrish of Koon's.
Okay, we've put up with your crap. You’d think our coaching staff was still getting back from vacation today if it wasn’t for freeman’s local altercation yesterday. Maybe it’s a staycation currently? Way to win the portal opening weekend!
You are definitely what you say you are in your second sentence, Einstein.I’ve been positive minus gray lately. We were by all accunts the one to beat for marsh and ibirogba. We lost marsh, and it doesn’t sound as positive now for ibirogba.
If we lose out on both most likely this portal will be a failure. Declining the bowl was to focus on 26, we can’t fail now.
Despite what people think, freeman’s recruiting until the 26 class has been overrated. You can’t have the holes we’ve had recruiting at WR and DL requiring such huge portal additions. We’ve recruited at high levels elsewhere so there’s a chance but it requires getting top targets out of the portal.
Something my mother use to say.Okay, we've put up with your crap.
It's time for you to live up to the second part of your name.
The portal rules this year are very different than last year. You aren’t going to see many “big fish” enter the portal the next week or so other than maybe the 4 remaining cfp teams. The big fish have already entered minus any cfp remaining players. There are going to be bigger fish pop up. We "won the portal" out of the gates a year or 2 ago and then all the sudden bigger names leaped in. It's going to be a wild couple of weeks.
Good eyes, Milton Waddams. You can be the local spell checker since you clearly don’t know anything about football. You are definitely what you say you are in your second sentence, Einstein.
He's not quite as twitchy as Boykin...Strong ran in the high 4.5s (4.57) while at Rutgers.Agreed on Strong, he sort of reminds me of a Boykin type in that I bet he tests a lot faster than he actually plays

Oh cousin Eddie; when will you realize you’re the joke around here and no one takes any of your posts seriously.Okay, we've put up with your crap.
It's time for you to live up to the second part of your name.
You are a broken record of a second tier K-pop band. Nobody gave a shit what you thought the first time you typed it and absolutely nobody cares when you keep saying it over and over and over again. Please just stfu? That’s the whole point of having and offering a lot of $$$ plus having freeman as a head coach. It sure as hell isn’t for his Xs and Os. If that is the case, why don't we stick with our WR corps as-is? Let's use the $ for other needs.I mean... that guy is nowhere close to Marsh. Sorry. Can't separate, big body guy with good hands is fine but it's not what's needed. Looks like a significantly worse version of Fields.
I mean Indiana is undefeated, just had a transfer win the Heisman, and just stopped Bama. I don’t know why anyone would think we had an advantage over them in the transfer portal.I’ve been positive minus gray lately. We were by all accunts the one to beat for marsh and ibirogba. This sort of rational, level-headed, clear-eyed response is sunshine pumping. We are at DEFCON 1 here!I mean Indiana is undefeated, just had a transfer win the Heisman, and just stopped Bama. I don’t know why anyone would think we had an advantage over them in the transfer portal.
How do you get that from this tweet? He was getting guarded by a top corner in the Big Ten last year(would’ve gotten plenty of playing time as rookie if not for a torn ACL) and still had 4 catch’s 89 yards and a touchdown despite who he was goingI mean... that guy is nowhere close to Marsh. Sorry. Can't separate, big body guy with good hands is fine but it's not what's needed. Looks like a significantly worse version of Fields.

I live in the area not too far from wake forest. All their insiders were stating he’s all ND, until recently. Stated we had earliest and most contact he was very interested in ND.Who ever said we were the ones to beat for Ibirogba?
To be clear: I’m not happy about little brother growing up. But, like, it’s obvious that Indiana’s going to have the world’s best pitch to transfers this year. This sort of rational, level-headed, clear-eyed response is sunshine pumping. We are at DEFCON 1 here!
IU reporter:
“Xavier Gilliams: IU is in it but Notre Dame and Tennessee are the competition. This one will be a battle.”
Context: same thread where they have 5 or whatever commits and like 3 guys he said they like their chances on (including Burnham)
