You always loved ND, defense has been elite, youll get plenty of reps, we have an NFL Dline coach, we have a schedule where you can really put up some numbers, and we're going to the gotdang ship.

There you go thinking with sense and logic but the problem is common sense isn't to damn "common" these days. It's like kids under think or overthink the decision and fight what feels right.

Never gave up on him developing into a contributing player. Showed flashes of that this year. Would probably play a bigger role next year but apparently wants more $ than his output thus far justifies. Wish him well wherever he ends up.

He got caught in the weird middle era of people not realizing you could absolutely pay players without consequence + Bama throwing around a bag like the good 'ol days. He got pressured by "people around him" to take the bag... but relative to current bags, it was ironically not much money... so going for short terms gains actually cost him both short term + long term.

Aren't DL at a premium in the portal? If he can help ND's line, he can help just about anyone's. These playoffs have reminded everyone that disruptive DL is imperative to elite success.

It’s rare that a kid who de-commits from ND ends up back w/ them via transfer. Plus, how close is he do graduating at Bama? If not a grad transfer, he may not even be a take depending on what credits he has accrued.

That said, imagine what Charlie Partridge could do w/ this kid?
