I don’t get all the Pavia hate honestly.

His social media shit is ridiculous but funny in a kind of over the top way.

He didn’t win and he carried his team more than Mendoza. He’s basically Mazel 2.0.

Anyhow, Love should have won.

His 15 minutes of fame are about over. No way a 5'9" douchebag with attitude issues makes it in the NFL. He's about to be this year's version of the Hawk Tuah girl.
Jamie U at ISD has been 100% correct about Pavia from the beginning of the season. Dude's like 37 and playing against college kids. You fucking suck. If you didn't, you'd be in the league. Move on, loser.

Pavia being hated is honestly such a testament to his character given that he’s running a fun offense and giving the premier SEC programs fits at Vandy

Mendoza is a goofball spaz

Pavia is kind of unlikeable but in the villain way, so it's better

Or you've got Jeremiyah Love, who is thoroughly excellent and the most exciting player in college football.
It's too bad the Heisman is such a quarterback fest that even in a year of mediocre quarterbacks they just hand it to a quarterback.

I don’t see how you cannot like Mendoza after his speech. Goofy, but honest and humble.
He's a likeable enough guy. He's just not an exceptionally good football player. He's just a fine quarterback on the #1 team, and while there's a history of that sort winning the Heisman, it's annoying when he wins it over a remarkable talent like Love.

You answered your own question...
That an undersized QB with a shitty personality/public image or off filed behavior can dominate in college and still shouldn’t be considered the “best player”?

If the Heisman is a popularity contest akin to high school prom king I suppose that might make sense.

Usually when you say 2.0. The second version is better than the first.

Pavia is no where near the player Johnny Manziel was. Not close

Does that mean a 4th year? I totally read into things to much. So my wife says.

ND has had some amazing players over the years, but Love was the only Irish player in my lifetime who soared as high as the Rocket. Literally every time he touched the ball he could take your breath away. I hope he has a long and prosperous NFL career. Thanks for the memories.

Most dynamic RB since Reggie Bush. Every touch had the potential to go to the house. Speed, balance, power, elusiveness, he has it all. We may never see a better RB at ND.

Unfortunately it's time to spread the Love. Please stay out of the AFC North Jeremiyah.

Would love to see him in Black and Yellow. ND backs have been good to the Steelers!

He will be this years player that teams trade into the top 10 to draft.

As a bears fan I'm sure Ben Johnson is erected thinking about him in his offense

Can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said here but what an absolute treat and pleasure it has been to watch him in an Irish uniform, one of the greatest we’ve seen and I hope he takes his game to the next level in the NFL!
