In looking at Jeremiyah the person and not the football player he is the perfect winner for Disney Spirit award and in my opinion he is already a legend.

During his interview for winning the Doak Walker award Freeman & Seider/Price appeared and Bettis praised Love.

Jeremiyah Love is loved at Notre Dame, I feel like he has unfinished business to complete at Notre Dame.

The NFL isn't going anywhere in 2027, if Love gave ND a $ figure for him to return ND could make it happen.

I give it a 4% chance for him to return.

Thanks Jeremiyah!

Getting intentionally knee’d and knocked out of the Stanford game where he could have easily had 3 TDS and 175 total yards killed it for him. Sadly he will come in third behind the chose one Mendoza and 8 year QB Pavia who was more important to his team than any of these guys. Minchey might land at Vandy.
Why would Minchey go to Vandy if Curtis is going there to be given the keys from Day 1.

Has there been anyone that was a for sure top ten pick come back for another year?
Andrew Luck (projected #1-> actual #1 the next year)
Jake Locker (projected #1-> actual #8 the next year)
Ndamukong Suh (projected 1st round->actual #2 the next year)

Cardale Jones was both likely a Top 10 pick and a bust had he come out after his 3rd year and 3 game.
He stayed at OSU and dropped into the 3rd or 4th round.

He saved some team some money. He was not going to be a good NFL QB.

I don't think there's any chance he comes back TBH and it breaks my heart we'll never see him play for us again.

My guess is he is or was given the advice to let the dust settle enjoy the the award season and when it's all done sit down with family and coach Freeman and make your decision when you have all the information. In theory that would give the program time to think of their pitch to get him to return and then he'd have all the information.

Something to consider is that Love is a projected top 10 pick in part because this is expected to be a generationally bad QB class. Next year can't possibly any worse (then again I thought that last year about this year) and Love might not have any fall off and still get drafted lower than he would this year.

Just said he's mostly likely done on an interview with the sports center anchor that looks like Clay Aiken

Also now that odds don't matter, who's riding with me? Placed it 10 min ago!View attachment 3061733
I predict Love comes in 3rd behind Mendoza & Pavia

Winner: Mendoza (best QB on the best team)
Runner-up: Pavia (he was to Vandy what Cam Newton was to Auburn)
3rd place: Love (tough for a RB to win & I do think there’s an animus towards ND after the CFP crap)
4th place: Sayin (RS frosh who has plenty of time to win one. Hard to not put up #s w/ those skill players)

Giving the keys to a true freshman seems about as unlikely as anything we learned about Clark Lea during his time at ND.

Minchey actually seems like a great fit.

And this is exactly what the odds predict too. With that said, I've lost all faith.

Pavia's numbers absolutely nuke Mendoza's and against better competition. I'm hoping they actually give the award meant for the best player in the country....to the best player in the country.
