What he's done at IU is the most impressive college coaching job since Urban Meyer at Utah I think.

This is INFINITELY more impressive than Urban at Utah.

McBride did a solid job at Utah, and had some decent years. They were coming off a poor 5-6 season, but nothing disastrous.

Cignetti took over a program coming off 3 dumpster fire seasons in a row, and were in general, one of the worst programs in the country, especially when it comes to success in their own conference. This was Indiana's first conference title since WW2.

I disagree on a certain level.

What Cignetti has done is impressive but Meyer didn’t have the transfer portal, sixth year players with eligibility due to a global pandemic and the ability to retain many of them with NIL.

I think IU is legit and will get back up. However I think OSU may have e a similar reaction as last year we will see. They lost so much from that team and have been playing cream puffs all year that maybe that offense finally got exposed a little
