Mendoza was pedestrian last night. Purdue dropped two INT’s which would have put a dent in his resume.

Coach Cignetti should've left Mendoza in more last nigh to showcase him for the Heisman, his stats weren't very impressive.

Love has a great opportunity tonight to be showcased for the Heisman.

Would he sit out a bowl game like against Texas or someone? I think he would have to play or the Heismanists would punish him.

Back-back historic seasons for J. Love, I am going to miss hearing the Beatles 'All You Need is Love' after he scores a TD at ND stadium.

If last night was the last we've seen of Love, change this title to ND man.

That play did not get nearly the amount of discussion it should have during the broadcast or afterwards. A player seemingly intentionally trying to hurt a Heisman candidate is a big deal. We collectively watch thousands of individual tackles during each football season and how often do you see that happening, ever? Reeks of intentional, and dirty, to me.

Anybody else ready to drive to California and break this dudes legs with a baseball bat?

Sorry guys, I don't see it. This isn't soccer. If it was easy to knock a star RB out of the game by hitting them in the ribs after a tackle, it would be done constantly. It was just rotten luck at the worst possible time. Sucks that it cost him the record and maybe the Heisman.

Do post season stats not count towards the rushing record?

This guy should sit out a game but Stanford sucks so badly that they aren’t bowling.
