I tend to think A&M being undefeated helps our resume. If Bama somehow wins the SEC and jumps us, that's the breaks, but I agree with Pain that it feels unlikely.

If Alabama wins the SEC championship they will jump Notre Dame regardless of who they play.
If I know ESPN & SEC, they’ll point to how ND’s two early losses didn’t prevent them from the benefit of the doubt & improving as the season progressed. They’ll say the same about FSU beating Bama. Difference is ND lost two games to CFP contenders on last possession of each game whereas FSU manhandled Bama.
Just shows how deep the conference is.
Part of me would really love to play them so we could bulldoze them to shut up these delusional Bama fans.
