If you take the two playoff games out of it his numbers are pedestrian at best. Throw in a couple of clutch drops and that’s that. Leonard formed a connection with him. Carr hasn’t formed one with Oauling and Faison. Don’t think greathouse has been high on Carrs radar when in the game. He also seems the laziest blocker of the WRs so far. Faison is a better blocker than he is and better YAC.

A lot of the ire people had for Faison in the off-season is now directed at Greathouse which has some validity, but I’ll say it’s unlikely you are portaling 2 - 3 WRs this off-season and having them all be better then Greathouse. He is a quality ball player and still our 3rd best WR IMO. I do think he needs to embrace being more physical as the only dudes that make it in the NFL his type do that.

Greathouse is the same weight as Puca Nacua. One inch apart. Either NDs height and weight are grossly exaggerated there (possible) or there is no excuse for him to not be a physical WR. Or maybe it’s the soft tissue injuries.

What do you mean by physical? A bunch of his best highlights are contested catch situations that require strong hands and positioning. Am I misunderstanding what you’re describing?

His blocking is poor. I agree he’s good at the point of attack and had some YAC highlights at times last year. Just need more of it

He has been lazy with his blocking.

The one big advantage he has on Pauling, that I’ve seen, is the ability to consistently track the ball high in the air from the slot.

*Pauling had one nice slot fade - but doesn’t find it that well consistently IMO.

From my Sister - Nurse, Trauma, also delivers babies (lol)......

She said based on info given... GH injury is 'deep trauma'.... needs more than rest... she said needs IV, deep massage, and possibly blood transfusion depending on severity of injury.

I'm hoping she's wrong... but, she knows her shit.

I'm sure the med--team at ND is giving/doing her recommendations... not a 'quick fix'....

Hope he sits until the playoffs so he can redshirt and get an extra year. This has been a throw-away season for Greathouse.

This would be his second throw away season. Hope he stays a full five years.

As Dale said, Freeman didn't say it outright but we all know there is no need to play him. I'm sure the staff does, too.

Are we sure he isn't being taught a lesson for not working hard enough during rehab?
Wake up man! Take it from a guy who "knows the game" and stop listening to all of these sheep.

Greathouse was benched for his lack of effort. The "injury" is just a cover story. They've held him out 6 games trying to get him to be more mentally focused. Evidently he's just stubborn.

What's the actual tea here? Did he need an attitude adjustment or is homeboy hurt
