So assuming Texas is toast, is there any other team that could realistically jump us if we don't lose? That was it right?
If we look terrible the last two weeks, Vandy and Miami could. Long shots, obviously.

I think there’s at least a few that could but they’d probably have to win their conference championship so it doesn’t really matter.

But Oklahoma will jump us, I’d imagine Michigan might if they beat Ohio State, BYU would have an argument if they win out, Miami might if they win out, etc…

Today was a great day to see the fake teams. Bama and Ty simpson are overrated and OU has Mateer making things look easy again. We'll be fine and possibly a 2nd year home playoff game. If we drop after watching aTm come back from a 27 point deficit we won't make the playoffs at all. We have the team and ability. If this where 6-10 years ago I would be scared.

Both OU and Alabama are overrated. The guy saying mateer making things look easy maybe just didn't watch the actual game
that would be me and Mateer Is a baller. What is the problem with saying OU has a very competent Qb. I'm sure the kicker kicked 80 yard field goals all day

did you watch him at the beginning of the season before he got hurt?
Mateer's problem is that he can't consistently throw the ball more than about 5-6 yards down field on time with accuracy. He's not a bad CFB QB by any means but if you can limit his running ability and make him throw he's pretty pedestrian. If Alabama didn't implode they would have won probably by double digits, as it were even with a pick six and two other costly turnovers they lost by 2.

Yeah he wasn't good today I don't know where you are getting this baller thing from. He beat a shitty Michigan team?

yes I agree. He was one of the top qb's in cfb until he injured his arm in week 3 or 4. If he stayed healthy he would be better than that IU guy that nobody wants to give the heisman to

Have you watched him since the Michigan game? He’s healthy now. He did nothing “baller” today. The defense did. The kicker did.
hes not healthy. I don't know who Is telling you this. he's still injured and thats fact he's the best game manager they have and they can win with that style of play now

He's absolutely not better than Fernando Mendoza. Mateer is a better athlete, Mendoza is an actual quarterback.

With a broken bone or bones in your throwing hand. I will argue this all day go break your hand and throw for 135 yards as a 23 o r4 year old

Not saying OU shouldn’t get credit but my takeaway from that game is that neither of those two teams are Top 10 caliber.

OU had 200 yards of offense.

I was much more impressed with Arch while getting his ass kicked than Mateer (he kind of sucks) winning at Bama. Oklahoma’s D did the job though.
