What an intelligent group of fans! Facts suck, the ND WRs under freeman have been very pedestrian/ underwhelming.

We don't want to ban you for discussing that the ND wide receiver group doesn't make the elite of college football, we want to see you banned because you're a jackass. I hope that helps.

Anyone remember that Oregon St fan who randomly came trolling round these parts after the Marshall loss? Guy starts trolling a fanbase of a team his team hasn’t played in 20 years. The Beavs end up getting spanked by ND I a bowl year later, get exiled to college football purgatory and now the program is falling apart. Wonder how he’s holding up

Prior to that, Fuller, Floyd, Samardzija routinely had 1K+ years. From 2008-2015, the Irish had a 1K+ WR in 7 out of 8 years


Now, they are lucky to have a WR with over 600 yards in a season. The Athletes they are recruiting and brining in as pass catchers have been absolutely awful under freeman.

If they want to win a natty in the next 2 years, with Carr as QB...they need to get much better on the outside.



Kevin Austin, Beaux Collins, Chris Tyree, Greathouse, Faison....these guy would not even be getting snaps in games at Ohio State, Texas, Bama, Georgia, etc.

Ohio State has two 5 Star Freshman as their #4 and #5 WRs. They would not swap a single WR on their team for anything ND trots out there. Faison is a walk-on 1 star WR. Greathouse would struggle to start on most MAC teams. Field and Pauling are bottom tier WRs from hilariously bad programs that no one else wanted.

Your assessment on the lack of production from ND WR's over the years along with your QB post (if that was you) isn't a terrible take and any fan not rocking an ND hat would probably agree.

But I think it goes hand in hand...When we were trying to land a player like Carnell Tate (OSU for ya) he came to SB and watched Pyne/Coan or Buchner (can't remember which) throw for 185 yards. He then went to OSU and watched CJ sling it. My point is, I blame our QB/WR issues on BK. When you have a kid like Carr, you start landing the Tate's.

OSU has had solid QB play and WR play for 15 years....But It's like the chicken and the egg in my opinion. No stud HS WR was coming to ND looking at their QB play over the last decade, and how could you blame them. But I think CJ is the first domino of a very bright future for ND's QB/WR room.

I remember as a childmy mom going through the drive-through at the one in downtown Elkhart and you could legit get 10 to 15 burgers for about $5.
