Missed fgs here and there you blame the kicker. Missed fgs and PATs on this scale are a fundamental coaching problem. The fake punts are cool. Maybe spend 5 more minutes with your kickers

Those replays of the misses. They’re all missed right. And it seems like his plant leg is really far from the ball resulting in having to reach for the kick.

Could be a simple fix of telling the kicker to plant closer to the ball. But idkkk

I make the motion to hire you as a kicking assistant.

The other common thread is Buchner as holder. I’m not seeing him fuck anything up but it also wouldn’t surprise me if he was.

Maybe hire a kicking game guy specific to the kicking.

It's turning into a huge head thing for all of the fuckers.

Not one of them has any confidence at all

What does that mean?

You make a kicker better at kicking?

Special Teams coaches don't teach kickers how to kick better... they coordinate the special teams

Seems like a problem with picking kickers to me.

Just pulled up Brandon Walker on College Football Reference because we all remember how awful he was. 55% lifetime kicker over two seasons. Know what his extra point stats were? 61 for 62. Even the most recent standard for bad ND kickers blows this crew out of the water

All we have to do Is win these announcers saying everyone predicted a close game need to be fired with our kicking team.

The problem now is we’re almost certainly not going to get the win we needed & could potentially lose.

So it’s now a lose/lose game.

The only saving grace is a 14-0 or better 4th qt for ND

I don’t hate our game plan on D. They can’t run the ball, and James is almost certainly going to make a mistake. Moore should have had a pick right there.
Exactly

The problem is the game should've been over an hour and a half ago

There are plenty of fundamentals that the coach can tweak. Plant foot, follow through, timing etc. It can also be the holder, the snapper, a variety of issues. Besides the whole operation being a failure, kickers are head cases. The way this has been handled has not been conducive
