Kelly initially blaming performance then flipping switch and saying they prepared well, then blaming self.
Not acting like a fired coach FWIW,but the most humility I’ve seen BK have.

LSU fired their ST Coordinator after 2024 and hired this guy:

2024: ST Coordinator at Grambling
2023: ST Coordinator at Texas Southern
2020 - 2022: Quality Control Coach (ST) at Baylor
2019: Quality Control (ST) at PSU

Why?? You could hire damn near any special teams guy in the country and you guy who has never been a ST coordinator at the FBS level????

He also fired LSU’s 22 year Strength coach.

You might remember him as the guy who went to A&M after and just saw his team bully the living shit of BK’s team in the trenches for 60 straight minutes

The bottom line is LSU football is as low as it was four years ago when Kelly took over the program. He overhauled his defense, and it didn't work. The offense has been a complete disaster all year, and the bottom has completely fallen out. If Kelly thought the fan base wanted him gone before, there is no turning back now. This will only get worse, and the animosity seen tonight between Kelly and Nussmeier is a sign of things to come between this staff and others. This team looks like it has mailed it in.

Now, the Admin has to figure out how it can pay Kelly's buyout, because there is no future after the demise we're witnessing. All three phases of the ball are worse than they were last year, and that's with a huge NIL boost. You think donors are going to want to cough up the dough to bolster his roster again, or just double down and pay more to get rid of him? If you're an LSU fan, you pray for the latter.

Well that was quite enjoyable, especially since there was no ND game yesterday. It felt exactly the way we Philly fans react to the Cowboys losing.

BK flipping shit on his special teams coach multiple times was lol

I actually want LSU to win a few games down the stretch so we can witness the complete fall out next year. I’ll miss BK not being in college football and having a reason to root against his team. I’m sure there are teams stupid enough to hire him but he’s too arrogant to accept a mid tier job like MSU or VT.

His team looked so soft and they were bullied. The future is NOT bright for LSU and BK.

I look forward to future college football analyst Brian Kelly having to congratulate Marcus Freeman on winning the national championship.
What network is going to willingly put his smug ass on tv? He’s not funny. He’s not engaging. He’s not someone people would like to watch. I actually tend to think he’s one of the few coaches that wouldn’t get swooped up by a pregame show or halftime show.

Kelly had quite a bit of success at ND, going undefeated twice in the regular season, two playoff appearances, and a National Championship appearance. I was concerned that he was maxing out ND’s ability in the current climate. And he would go to LSU and have big time success. Turns out he’s not a great coach (still good) and there was plenty of room left to reach ND’s ceiling. That makes me feel even more confident for the present and future of ND football.
