This is the game that really shows what we have on defense....lot of yards, giving up 21+ points...we have a serious issue

Feeling like betting my whole Draft Kings balance on ND. Just seems impossible that they drop 3 in a row, but you never know...

I think we continue to see improved OL play and running game. 35+ points for ND. The question is whether ND gets stops or not, but through 3 games I haven't seen much that would make them explosive.

The ND defense is shit against good opponents, but could be good against shit opponents. Purdue is out of its depth, Minchey throws a TD while the second unit offense shines. 55-10 Irish

The line for last year's game after the NIU loss was -7.5, after opening at -10.5.

How many of you bitches were crying, "Oh, God, the line shortened up by 3!" then?

ND covers with ease.

Just got done with an annual gold outing. ND has never lost when the outing falls on a game week. Us by a million.

I have no doubt the offense is good enough to cover the spread. The defense one the other had hasn’t shown that. I still don’t think they cover.

Irish win 45-27

I would bet Purdue and points if I was a gambler. I say Purdue covers.

Poll results strike me as refreshingly sane--far more so than general forum comments. Few expecting a replication of last year's historic annihilation, and few expecting a loss or narrow victory.

I think we’ll be up by 30+ in the third before a potential back door cover. I’m expecting us to kick their ass, and for CJ to finally start slinging the ball down field.

I think what concerns me is when I hear some on the ND beat proclaiming “We’ll we won’t see anymore OL like UM & A&M”. You sure about that? I can agree Miami’s is legit but to assume this year’s schedule is comparable to last year’s when it comes to overall talent is a fool’s errand. ND still has some salty offenses on their slate & while their OLs may not be to the level of Miami, I think there will be some that are as effective as what we saw w/ A&M’s OL.

Yeah I would say we can be 100% sure about that. Especially in pure size.

USC and Arkansas have guys and certainly can make our DL look bad if they continue to underperform but I believe you can confidently say Miami and A&M are the two best units

I think like last year, ND is going to take a lot of rage, frustration, and issues out on Purdue. Purdue is just booty cheeks right now. ND wins something like 42-13.

And I’m fine with that but I think that gives listeners a false confidence b/c it’s not like the remaining OL are crap considering how bad ND’s front has looked thus far. You can give a throwaway statement that “ND won’t see any OL as good as the first two they faced” when ND’s defense is legit. When it’s as porous & passive as it’s looked thus far, they need to prove they can beat an avg OL.
