Nah.I can assure everyone that in this context, a 5-way REALLY IS just spaghetti, chili, onions, beans and cheese

Orrrr, you or another staff member restricted my access - Mystery for sure
my 4k+ posts here aren't only after losses. I just state what I see, always have, always will. Not always right, and i'll shout it to the roof, i'm not at practice, practice is important, but I can only off what I see that happens during the games.
I don't want to waste time on this crap, i love ND football and discussing it. This is the best place, no places are perfect.

You actually want to discuss football? The nerve! My, in my opinion, reasonable and maybe obvious take -- we need some serious improvement on the line this game and for the rest of the year. Still just hoping there was something going on -- flu, noise -- that caused regression from the tackle spots. We just didn't even seem to get into our pass sets in time. Lambert being inconsistent is whatever, he'll get better with reps. We clean that up and I'm not worried about anyone including A&M.
We were hardly underdogs last year, actually never in the regular season. After last season I like my mental prep for games to be from a position of thinking ND is underdogs. Thusly, I am supportive of a bit of pessimism on this board.
I don't care if anyone's a Seinfeld fan. Do not Google search "orgy guy gif."Nah.

A&M couldn't stop the run I would hope to see a run heavy offense game plan in the first half. 2 Back sets with price and loveI’m curious to see if the nd staff believes in the oline and calls more passing plays that take time to develope or if they still try to protect Carr with quick throws due to poor tackle play.
Watch this be the year we finally have a good deep WR room but an oline that can’t pass pro so we can’t utilize them.
Another option is to chip their speed rushers with a rb/te. We ain’t really do that vs Miami, instead we flared then out to throw to them. But our tackles got so blown up they still weren’t easy plays.
When will the depth chart for this game be released?
It's going to be a different kind of game than Miami. Their edges, especially Howell, are really good pass rushers but they don't have the DTs like Miami did to stuff the run. TAMU's weaknesses on defense are tackling and run defense. It's going to be a run to set up the pass game unless Denbrock loses his mind a la Sanford-in-a-hurricane.I’m curious to see if the nd staff believes in the oline and calls more passing plays that take time to develope or if they still try to protect Carr with quick throws due to poor tackle play.

Feels like there is a lack of hype for this game
I just think elko is going to put so much focus on stopping our run, just like he did last year. In elko's PC he said he expects a heavy dose of Love. It's going to be a different kind of game than Miami. To further this, Greg on Hit & Hustle yesterday mentioned that he expects this to be a higher scoring game than last year.I just think elko is going to put so much focus on stopping our run, just like he did last year. In elko's PC he said he expects a heavy dose of Love.
They stopped our run game last year until we popped two longer runs in the 2nd half. I'm all for wearing them down, I just don't think you can rely on a low scoring game and we'll need to ensure we score if they're putting 7/8 in the box and slowing the run down.
ND is 0-1, i think most people are confused/unsure if this team will be elite title contender or not (didn't look like it vs miami). A&M hasn't built up national attention they are a title contender.Feels like there is a lack of hype for this game
Yep, i'll be watching to see how quickly Denbrock adjusts to whatever A&M does to stop the run, like bring an extra hat down. Does he keep running love into it thinking they can pop one or how quickly does he start taking shots.A&m d line was much different last year. They can get after the passer but are small on the edges. They can't tackle on the back end either. Expect to pound the ball and take shots once they bring the safety down
There is a tendency to talk about coordinators here on IE after losses. Players after wins. There will be a schematic battle Saturday but the reality is ND is more talented than A&M, and certain players that didn’t showcase that against Miami have to show that.
Havoc, turnovers, explosives are things that take players making plays.
QB: TBD
RB: ND (but we should factor Reed into this)
WRs: Texas A&M
OL: A&M
TE: has to be A&M?
DL: has to be A&M?
LBs: ND
CBs: ND
Safeties: TBD?
I think you're vastly underselling some of our groups.
