Repeating of course32.33 repeating.
Why would they announce? If Kenny, more ground base plan. If CJ, more air based. Too much of a contrast to tip the cards now.
Of course Carr’s parents would say thatFrom all of Driskells practice reports, Carr has been far more aggressive with throwing the ball downfield. Lots of “wow” throws.
Minchey has been more conservative with the ball. Not taking as many chances in tight windows as CJ.
Worth noting that the interceptions from this mornings scrimmage, were not necessarily bad throws by Carr. Just great defensive coverage.
Yes this covers it well. First year he had some blunders with game management. Learned from it. He is aggressive in mindset but doesnt condone recklessness on the fieldI should’ve been more specific. He’s definitely a risk taker in some aspects. I think he absolutely hates careless turnovers on offense. Obviously most coaches don’t like that. I just think he’s always going to have a hard time with a young qb and the learning curve/turnovers that are going to come with that.
Depends on how good your rushing offense is. ND would be better off with QB2 by a wide margin.Think this might beg the question, which would u prefer from a starting qb?
QB1 - 17-25, 295 yards, 4 TDs, 2 ints
Or
QB2 - 19-25, 220 yards, 2 TDS, 0 Ints?
Same number of pass attempts, so the running game is neutral in this argument. Give the opponent two extra drives from interceptions with no guaranteed outcome in exchange for two more TDs for the good guys? No brainer imoThink this might beg the question, which would u prefer from a starting qb?

To be fair they are both, effectively, young QBs. Reading between the lines, one seems more high-risk/high-reward, the other more conservative but also more composed. Given what our running game can do and the degree of difficulty of our first two games, yeah it seems to be trending Kenny.I should’ve been more specific. I wanna see this "verticality" Denbrock has been talking aboutConservative is cute and can guarantee us a 10 win season and a 1st round playoff loss. Im not saying it has to be Carr but it cant be conservative Minchey or Carr.
How would you describe Riley Leonard's quarterbacking style? He wasn't exactly flinging it all over the yard last year.Conservative is cute and can guarantee us a 10 win season and a 1st round playoff loss. Im not saying it has to be Carr but it cant be conservative Minchey or Carr.
Elite rushing ability we won't see again, which doesn't apply here. How would you describe Riley Leonard's quarterbacking style? He wasn't exactly flinging it all over the yard last year.
But he was such a unique running QB that could save the team on 3rd and managible with his legs, that's not what I see out of either Carr or Minchey. Loenard was nearly automatic when he needed to move the chains with his legs. How would you describe Riley Leonard's quarterbacking style? He wasn't exactly flinging it all over the yard last year.
True, but, again, if we're talking third and manageable, I want a QB who'll see and make the reliable throw, not try to force something downfield into a tight window. But he was such a unique running QB that could save the team on 3rd and managible with his legs, that's not what I see out of either Carr or Minchey. Outside of the academies, that was about as conservative of a passing game as you can get IMO.How would you describe Riley Leonard's quarterbacking style? He wasn't exactly flinging it all over the yard last year.
Tbh I think if ND was playing Navy or Purdue Week 1 it would be Carr, but given the schedule I dunno. Minchey is not turning the ball over in practice and is just fine as a passer. Carr has an "NFL" style arm and ceiling and what I was told in the spring was that it wasn't really close in terms of who had more upside. I think what gives everyone pause is the turnovers + Minchey playing consistently well. Freeman is probably more inclined to go with the mistake-free QB and run the ball, I bet the offensive coaches lean more towards the more talented guy.LAX based on your source do you have a gut feeling one way or the other?
pretty sure that's not what is being stated. At least I haven't heard thatThere sure seems to be a lot of speculation being thrown around about Minchey’s lack of ability to be a play maker.
Depends on the 2 ints but man that's a tough choice 😂Think this might beg the question, which would u prefer from a starting qb?

Yeah, which may or may not be true, but post-spring the word on the street was basically:There sure seems to be a lot of speculation being thrown around about Minchey’s lack of ability to be a play maker.
