People running with this are missing the point. What went down wasn’t nearly as dramatic as it’s being made out to be. Freeman knows exactly how to handle this, and the guys in the room are clear on where things stand.

The only confusion is on the outside looking in. When you’re piecing things together through second-hand chatter, it’s easy to think something “big” happened. Truth is, the staff’s process hasn’t changed, and the players aren’t scratching their heads the way the press and a few leaks would have you believe.

I’d just say: trust that it’s under control. There’s smoke because folks don’t have the whole picture.

No common sense post’s allowed.

Yeah it's kind of wild that they'd actually put out a statement like that. Feels a bit like damage control with the Carr Family, tbh.
