Bowen is easily one of the scummiest flips I can recall.

Dude legit gaslit the coaches and his fellow commits and then did a hat selection announcement while still committed to ND. Seriously, how can that be seen as anything but disrespectful?

I can't say I didn't feel a bit of schadenfreude of him not panning out at OU.
Not to derail - and agree that was one of the more immature spectacles I've seen in following recruiting, at least regarding ND - but Bowen's been decent for OU. Played every game last year, made 34 tackles, likely starter this year (as is his younger brother). Maybe not lived up to the hype and of course no Adon Shuler :))) but he's not been a total flameout. Has done a lot more so far than, say, Keon Keeley.

Jarrard just transferred from a private school to a public school in the same area. Just because he’s from GA, doesn’t mean the competition was better. Nothing that’s been on film through his first two seasons is against good comp, hence the move to the public setting.

On that point, kuddos to the kid for wanting to play better competition to better prepare himself for the next level, opposed to padding his stats against a mostly weak private league schedule.

Yup. He’s transferring from Class 2 to Class 6, the highest. Competition was not good this past season.

That’s huge. Coupled with not knowing the receivers and this sounds like a receipt For board meltdown

Lots of easy, “gimme” throws. But he did look really good and decisive in RPO.

I get older, but the dream planned blue chip QB line of succession stays the same age

It's going Clausen/Crist/Kiel/Wimbush/Jurkovec/Buchner, Lakers in 5.

He's really really good, and should be able to play early. So damn poised. Fits what Denbrock wants to do very well.

Ideally, you get three years of CJ and roll into 2028 with a sophomore Teddy J.
Gonna be tough to keep CJ for a third year after he wins his second Heisman.

Looks like Denbrock is going to have to change the offense so that it's 75% slants
