This trip to Eugene is the one that scares me the most
Some visit changes.
OSU now longer getting an OV, which makes sense since they didn't make his Top 6. OSU had their visit set for the final OV weekend (June 20), but that is now being swooped up by ND. O'Brien is longer taking that weird midweek visit that he had planned.
I'll add, that ND's biggest perceived threat, PSU, is getting the first OV on May 16-18
Sorry, is it still just that final OV weekend?
Penn State’s is early. Which is interestingAlways best to be last. Visit is fresher in the kids minds and the staff can address anything the other schools discussed.

It’s amazing how quickly the safety room has been turned into a strength.TE U

Our whole secondary. That was such a problem area for such a long time. It's kind of remarkable tbhIt’s amazing how quickly the safety room has been turned into a strength.

Kid is a legit top 40 player and 5* SafetyON3 had a new rankings update and he’s the #8 safety. I haven’t watched film on every safety in the country but I find it hard to believe this kid isn’t in the top 3. Definitely an elite talent.
Your words are correct. ND’s safety room was turned into a strength overnight when Gilman and Eliot took over in 2018.It’s amazing how quickly the safety room has been turned into a strength.
That's not encouraging, especially the last line. UO has a lot of glitz to blow away the kids, and Lanning is an enthusiastic recruiter. This will be a dog fight until the end.![]()
Oregon in a great spot with touted safety Joey O'Brien following weekend visit

I would agree I think Oregon is our biggest challengeIf some of you take comfort in having the last visit, then you'll feel a little at ease with O'Brien.
Oregon is flashy. Most that visit are going to be enthusiastic afterwards.
ND has the longest standing relationship. They've put in a lot of work. I wouldn't feel that worried just yet.
This was his official to Eugene, if 247 is correct. One would expect Mickens and crew to go in home with him shortly to prevent any type of knee jerk commitment.![]()

Doesn’t seem like his PSU OV moved the needle a ton. Perception is still ND or PSU with Oregon third. Positive development that it wasn’t a PSU surge.
Dale, where did you see this or hear this?Doesn’t seem like his PSU OV moved the needle a ton. Perception is still ND or PSU with Oregon third. Positive development that it wasn’t a PSU surge.
much like BK if i was running recruiting there i'd keep recruits away from Franklin as much as possibleJames Franklin has to be top 3 lamest coaches to play for. Not surprised.
Dale, where did you see this or hear this?
Since I have already outed you today as Driscoll, was it you, someone on here or one of the podcasters that said that JOB seems to come out of the visits with that school surging, only to go to the next one and then that school surges? I thought I heard that after Oregon visit, and the person said it bodes well for ND if that trend continues.Doesn’t seem like his PSU OV moved the needle a ton.
