"Realities of life" would be.....realities if they bore themselves out in the, you know, data. They don't.
1) Education is the best proxy of intelligence we have available that is tracked with voting intention. So, I know you have vibez and feels but it doesn't really hold water.
2) That's nice. I know a few people who been very successful that didn't go to university. But, you will never be able to argue to a serious person that higher education level does not correlate with higher earnings. It doesn't work.
3) A 5% swing in popular vote would sway the popular vote in all elections post 2000 except for Obama 08. It is quite significant.
4) For sure. The Dem leadership would be smart to embrace them.
5) I agree they should be very concerned with that. You seem to forget or not remember that I've been very critical of the Dem leadership.
There's no need for like, data and charts, to accept the reality that education does not equate to intelligence and sure as hell doesn't equate to financial success.
The second grade teacher with a master's degree doesn't earn more than the electrician.
The boiler room operator (I know one at PECO) makes great money and has no college debt compared to the psychology grad with $80k in student loans working 3 jobs in hospitality.
The US has truck drivers making six figures while the Cultural Studies major can't figure out why their starting salary at age 22 isn't $70k.
I could list dozens more but you should get the point by now and to reiterate what Dakota said, college tuition outside of STEM is losing its luster each year in the marketplace. But hey...there's always Enterprise.
