Listening to this show now. As a former extreme skeptic of Marcus, the growth of this guy has been incredible to watch.

Great interview. I was with you in terms of the skepticism. I mentioned this before, but I thought in the past, it was less Freeman and more Golden + Denbrock. I was harsh on Freeman with the Marshall and Stanford losses…I was harsh on Freeman with the Ohio State 10-man debacle two plays in a row…I was harsh in Freeman with the Louisville and Clemson games…and then, after a solid performance against Texas A&M, I was harsh on Freeman with not having the team ready to go against Northern Illinois.

He’s still learning and he still has a lot to improve. But, his trajectory is skyrocketing forward. It’s pretty cool to watch him grow into the job in a positive manner. He seems like a great guy and I wish him nothing but the best. As long as he isn’t playing LSU, I hope he wins them all. If my children were athletes (and God bless them, I’m 0/4 in terms of having gifted athletes 😂), I’d want them to play for Freeman and Notre Dame first. Everyone else (sans the Military Academies) is a distant second.

I’ll admit I have the same feelings as you (minus the LSU stuff of course). I hope the gaffes stop but he has my full support and I’ll go forward watching with less stress and negativity. The future is only getting brighter.

He is the type of person you want your sons to play for and a great leader that we need more of in society. I just hope the changes in college football don’t ruin the sport.

Is that USC's defensive coordinator? The only coach more prominent than Freeman?

With the vidya hype released this week, reflecting on ND's place in all of this nonsense. Wild how shit can change.

After NIU last year, I was ehhh. That + Marshall and Stanford and no showing @ Louisville and gacking vs Ok St and guhhhh.

Now: Ride or die. Bring yer weak shit LFG
