I assume the Marshall and Stanford losses in 2022, while bad, was more of a MF’s first year as head coach, but did football ops have any uneasiness? I’m truthfully more interested in the Northern loss as you’re in year 3, just went to College Station and looked fired up, locked in and focused, and then just complete 180 the following week to a vastly inferior opponent…apathetic, lethargic, unprepared, going through the motions. Was it a “oh shit moment” within the team? Was it a stern, “come to Jesus” moment with Freeman and the team or between Freeman and Jack/Board of Trustees — meaning, that is wholly unacceptable and not to happen ever again, are we clear? The team was just so locked in after that and determined that something had to change.
