With all due respect:

The S&P 500 is 5% off its all time high. Interest rates are as high as they have been for 20 years. If you are 80 and your means are THAT sensitive to a 5% move in the market - you either need to hire a qualified financial advisor or find a new one. Chasing the hot dot of NVDA and crypto gets no sympathy if you are actually relying on those dollars to fund pretty much anything in the near term. SPYV, the value side of the S&P is only down 2% from it's peak. So your lamentations are either bullshit or a function of your own personal mismanagement.

You are the last person I expected to come in here and egg on the biggest, newest troll in the room.
LOL are you kidding me? You're going to get upset at an old guy and the intricacies of living off a fixed income? How many times have we seen people shit their pants at the costs of fucking eggs and that they voted for the guy who was going to make things cheaper?? Where was your financial analysis for "I used to get da big refund now I get no refun!"

Can you show us any such posts, please?
What is it with your side and not having reading comprehension abilities? Did I say I was doing so here? I wasn't even a member here until after Biden left office.

So you want to try that question again so that is makes sense or is applicable to what was being talked about?

WTF are you even talking about? He cried about losing so much money it impacted his quality of life, I pointed out he needs professional help if his portfolio in the last two weeks has created that hardship with data to back it up. At least try to make sense if you are going to be an argumentative twink all the time.

Are we also going to ignore the hilarity of ignoring the present market trends?

IT'S ONLY 5% OFF!!..yeah..today...where is that trend line now headed due to the new economic policies?

To be fair, OMM used the term "decimated" as it relates to his current value. Would seem to be a bit over the top unless he had very specific large value investments that dropped a huge percentage.

Then short it and make a mint smarty pants.

All caps - calm down, you may be new to investing but there are books out there that can help educate you and mitigate your emotions that tend to lead you to making poor investment decisions. If you go all caps every time the market is 5% below an ATH (all time high for the uninformed) you might be best off ignoring the market all together as your emotions might get the best of you.

Which also lends to poor planning and advice. To be that concentrated in one investment or sector in retirement is negligence.

It's possible to not like Biden and trump
To add to that...I've openly(directly) criticized Biden in some of my posts re: Immigration and Ukraine...and indirectly criticized him when referencing current issues with H1B visas and other issues regarding immigration..

In other words, no, you can't show any evidence you ever criticized Biden as you claim.

I took it as him referencing specific shares and not a large part of his portfolio. It didn't seem like he'd be destitute...just having to make some adjustments in lifestyle and charitable donations.

You're unfathomably stupid.

1. The question I was asked was this one:
Where were you when Joe was in office?
I was not on the message board when "Joe was in office". So there would be no posts of mine shitting on him from that time frame.

Hence, why I responded "Calling him names as well"...because I was....outside of this message board... It wasn't occurring here, because well...I wasn't here. Nor did I ever say they(the criticism/names) or myself were here. You, for some reason, can't understand that...and demanded proof of a claim that I never made.

2. I have criticized Biden since I have been here and the literal post above yours referenced three specific instances of doing so.

LOL - nice reading comprehension. Deeerrrrrrpppp.

Try again - maybe read out loud to yourself that helps some of the slower kids understand better.

"(This president has already hurt me, as the stock market has dropped for my retirement monies just as my required out-take has come, which means each newly taken "share" I have in my portfolio was worth less, therefore more of my shares were decimated. For me, it just means eating a bit lower on the food pyramid, and not giving to my charities, but I don't LIKE either, especially the latter. Many of my former neighbors will be hit far more in "quality of life".)"

Interesting. You keep spinning and twisting and insulting others' reading skills and intelligence, yet you can't back up your claims with a bit of actual evidence. Sounds more like you said something dishonest and stupid and are embarrassed now that you got called out on it.

Interesting.
Is it?

You keep spinning and twisting
I'm not "spinning" or "twisting" anything. I'm giving you a very specific and concise sequence of events showing why
A. What I said was entirely accurate
and
B. The question you asked was amazingly stupid and impossible...perhaps even impossibly stupid.

yet you can't back up your claims with a bit of actual evidence
I literally did so.

Sounds more like you said something dishonest
What was dishonest about what I said? Be specific.

Yep, I read it again.
He doesn't seem destitute.
He didn't reference all of his shares.
Sounds like he'll be a bit more frugal and donate less money.

Seems I was and continue to be 100% correct.

False - and honestly you might be retarded to double down on that stance. It is pretty obvious to anyone with an IQ over 80 really.

Take your lithium.

I actually would take one for the team and suffer a bit if it means we get out of debt.

There is nothing wrong with that. Many people are willing to not get a Doge check and to use it on the debt.

Just like I don't care who 'caved' with the mineral deal. I'm just glad it's getting done because it's good for the country.
