One of the 3 EEs mentioned by the Irish staff as impressing at an elite level.

At 6-foot-2, 288 pounds, center Cam Herron arrived at Notre Dame 10 pounds or so over expected, good news for an undersized player. One word that has come up multiple times for the violent lineman is "underrated," as the Irish staff believes that Herron is going to be, in the words of one source, "really [redacted] good" in the next couple of years. Notre Dame doesn't need Herron right away if starter Ashton Craig can stay healthy or if former left tackle Anthonie Knapp proves to be the best option there, so the freshman will have plenty of runway to continue to reform his body.

How many 6-2 oline men in the NFL?

This year stathead.com returns 15 OL that are 6'2" or shorter. I can't get the full list without having a subscription, but the shortest one they gave me was Shaq Mason at 6'1". It's not an awful thing to be shorter as an OL. It may hinder you frame-wise, making it more difficult to have size, but from a run blocking standpoint low man usually wins. Recently retired Jason Kelce was also 6'2".

Didn't our very own OL coach play big boy ball at like 6'1?

So he should be good if he can get to 315 or so pounds.
