I mean... If China invaded the West Coast and took California through Texas, would you expect the President just to back down and try to get a peace deal and cede that territory? It's completely reasonable. I think there logically needs to be an end to the war soon but I don't think it is fair at all to say that Zelensky wants war.

That article did touch on the high number of NK casualties. Attacking in high volumes hasn't been effective since the Civil War yet NK trains their soldiers in that approach. Kim Jong love his people.

The Ukranian front line has reportedly been crumbling for 6 months now. The Russians lack the mechanized forces to exploit any breakthroughs. Instead they just feed more men into the meat grinder.
