If Goodwin and Merrill join Nichols and Garvin…do Freeman/Rudolph slow play or pass on Patrick and shoot for Ogboko, Ojo, Gray, and Iheanacho Or sit at 4?

This is what a prototypical Top 100 college OT prospect looks like without pads.

Well Patrick went to Michigan yesterday instead of the quick drive from Kalamazoo to South Bend so something's already up (or down) with that recruitment.

We have 1 OT and 1 swing guy now, say Goodwin commits that gives us 2 tackles. I’d look at Strickland, Nielsen, Greer, Ogoboko, Tofi not even sure he’s considering us, Carter Scruggs think this kids gonna be a stud, Merrill, I like Samuel Rosenborough. I would def take 5 maybe 6 with the roster expansion

Nichols and Garvin are OG's in my book. Be shocked if either get a sniff at OT especially with what's coming up on the roster.

Just watched his film and it was impressive. How is the competition? He looks like a player with a really high ceiling to me!

Interesting. He is a Mich St legacy too. Wouldn’t surprise me if Nichols, Merrilll, and Garvin took his spot and we have cooled on him looking for a pure tackle (once Merrill is official).

Another takeaway from the photo on the left…

Davis must be wearing Timbs or he’s closer to 6’3 than Caldwell is
Besides Davis….All the linemen are 6’5” and 6’6”. Grubbs is 6’4”. Unfortunately Caldwell is unlikely 6’3”. Classic listing exaggeration. Closer to 6’1.5”.
Nichols is shorter than both Merrill and Garvin…none of them are tackles.

Goodwin likely is though, right?

PA is a private school but got bumped to 7A which is the highest classification for HS football in AR. They lost in the semi-finals to the eventual state champion. They’re typically producing 1-2 P4 players per year but the competition doesn’t jump off the page. PA’s previous HC was the guy that got national attention for never punting & almost always on sides kicking the ball. Hunter Henry is probably their biggest success in the NFL.

Definitely. The class following Will Black, Augustine and Strebig? Look for the BK special “traits.” Guy is 6’6” - 6’7”, with size - already 300 in addition to length, feet, and athleticism. When ranked appropriately next year after his continued development, should be right around 10-12 OT and 90-130 composite. The 2026 version of Jack Lange.

I'm impressed with how he carries his weight. So many of these HS kids have the weight, but it's all burgers and fries weight.
