Missed a lot of free throws today. Gotta fix that. Outside of that, I thought the team played fairly well today. Good start to the ACC!

Irish with an easy victory tonight over Le Moyne.

Tae was able to do about whatever he wanted. He had a field day.

Actually just looking at the stats, Robby Carmody was on the team and he scored 13 pts. To be honest, I was half ass paying attention the entire game and did hear “Carmody” at one point. Didn’t register.

Carmody was 8-8 from the foul line, 2-8 from the floor. Sixth year in college. Kid must love to play hoops. ND told him three years ago to give it up and he hasn't.

Any coach that would be willing to leave their current team “in season” is not a coach I would ever want leading a team.

Makes me think the tweet of the individuals interested is likely not accurate

Based on the Miami coaches comments, something isn't right down there institutionally. He doesn't seem like he is set up for success. If a veteran coach like that is saying those things, I wouldn't touch that job with a ten foot pole.

Lost today to N Carolina. Painful, as we had a three point lead with ten seconds to go and blew it. Extremely dumb play by the Princeton transfer, fouling a three point shooter when we had a foul to give.
Encouraging, though, as Burton returned and looked none the worse for wear. He did miss a close in shot at the buzzer, could have called the foul but didn't (of course). Nice to actually have a guy who can go coast and get off a good shot in the final 4.8 seconds of a game.

Text book grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory. With Burton finally back, did look like a competitive team again.

Went to the game today, here are my takeaways:
  • ND was in this game for 1 reason- Markus Burton
  • Tae Davis has improved his game
  • Braeden Shrewsberry is shooting smarter shots this season
I thought the foul on the NC 3 pointer was questionable. Burton & Mohammed returned and came in the game at the same time. Mohammed is taller than what I thought. Burton is tough to guard and he draws so much attention.

Groundhog Day with another last possession loss to NCSt
No doubt Burton’s return makes us better but we just can’t seem to win the close ones

Yeah, they just can't close games out. I feel like every time I watch them, I turn it off frustrated. They've lost 22 out of their last 23 road ACC games...Just don't have a winning culture right now.

Down 10 to Duke rn on ESPN in 2nd Half. Much better team with Burton.

Brutal how they’ve lost relevance around here over the last ~5 years.

Cooper Flagg is just too much today. 36 points already with 7 minutes left. ND playing well since their bad start.

I wish I had more time to watch them and compare them to a few years ago. I just don’t.

I haven’t watched much of them this year but I thought with the portal they would be better than they are.

Good fight at the end of this one.

This is a middling ACC team when healthy, just got screwed with Burton’s injury and can’t replace him.

No answers for Cooper Flagg made it along day for the Irish. Has Mohammed gotten any more playing time since the little he came in for vs UNC?

I like that ND came back from being down and ND's lost worse than 10 on the road vs Duke. Hopefully ND can bounce back at home vs BC this Monday.
