Same; I can't stop.Watching the Love TD over and over rn
Allar
Unfortunately I don’t think so (if you’re talking calendar year). It’s probably NY6 bowls though. Thinking because Michigan won the Rose Bowl then whatever BS bowl they were in this year
I’ve watched the FG many times, just now considered, they committed a penalty right? Not familiar with the rules completely but two guys lept over the center, one put his hand on his back to do so
Lots of calls missed for both teams last nightI’ve watched the FG many times, just now considered, they committed a penalty right? Not familiar with the rules completely but two guys lept over the center, one put his hand on his back to do so
I'm the exact same brother. However I'm dealing with 11-13 year olds instead.I am running on 4 hours of sleep and dealing with 14-17 year olds. But, that win and the fact that the majority of the 14-17 year olds are State Penn fans has me energized like I was hanging in Miami with Tony Montana. I just hope I don't crash later in the day!![]()
you could tell Singleton had some extra juice in this because of the familiarity and looked absolutely disgusted after his individual performance still resulted in a loss.Underrated great part of last night was obviously the stakes were a part of it but you could feel like it get a bit chippy. I think the recruiting crossover was part of it. Bowen was running his mouth a lot lol. He had plenty of words for Allar
Yeah I thought it was pretty clear the refs were taking it easy on the whistle. Not one holding call. Just false starts and 15 yarders.Lots of calls missed for both teams last night
Ha. Forgot about all that. Allar and Angeli are the same recruiting class, right?you could tell Singleton had some extra juice in this because of the familiarity and looked absolutely disgusted after his individual performance still resulted in a loss.
Allar looking like absolute trash after the majority of the ND fanbase was calling for one of their owns head because he didnt come to ND was also sweet. His last three touches were an INT you absolutely can't have, a throw away with 10 seconds on the clock (wtf LOL) and an out of bounds cross field lateral to end the game. Absolute chefs kiss.
I still don't really understand how he did that. Like, the physics of it.Watching the Love TD over and over rn
Speaking of the field goal, Freeman was in Franklin's head hardcore at this point. There was like 15 seconds left and ND had no timeouts. They weren't faking it. Yet PSU was so scared of a fake that they played fg safe, dropping three guys back. You gotta go for the block there, it's literally the game.I’ve watched the FG many times, just now considered, they committed a penalty right? Also, I am 100% convinced that if ND was in Penn State's position when Penn State kicked the first FG that MF would have had the fortitude to go for it and not kick.Speaking of the field goal, Freeman was in Franklin's head hardcore at this point. Absolutely. That was a bailout. Huge win for ND to hold them to 3 there. Also, I am 100% convinced that if ND was in Penn State's position when Penn State kicked the first FG that MF would have had the fortitude to go for it and not kick.
I can't recall 1 player showing more heart than Love did here. I've been watching football for over 30 years. After that play, it struck me how special this team is. This and the Greathouse td forever in Irish lore.Watching the Love TD over and over rn
On that post game interview you could 100% tell RL was concussed.
yes. Allar was listed as the composite #1 overall qb in the class and Angeli was #43.Ha. Forgot about all that. Allar and Angeli are the same recruiting class, right?
Hard to dwell on your mistakes when don’t remember them.I find it unlikely that Riley Leonard plays better concussed.
no he played ST snaps on FG unit versus Georgia and dressed for Indiana but didnt playSorry I missed this, but was this the first game action for Jagusah all season?
You almost made me cry. Great write up and agree 100%.They didn't flinch.
I watched that entire game with a sense of pure calm because I knew they wouldn't flinch. The ride is different this year. The other shoe hasn't dropped. Even the 17 times that game felt like it was going to get away from them, I was calm. I didn't stop believing. This year is different. This year is more.
They are the best of us.
Steve. Aeneas. Jaden. Christian. Mitch. Would you have expected any of these to step into the brightest January lights to this point? No. This team carries each other, though. They carry the man next to them and his weaknesses. His pain. His discomfort. They forget their own and carry the man next to them. When the man next to you is ready to battle for you, everyone walks the wall together. It's an unselfishness and work ethic that's missing from greater society. If the world were more like this football team, it would be an incredibly better place. That's why I've been able to lose myself in them for 60 minutes each week. Yes, 4 Quarters of Fuck You Football is better than the reality we live with as regular humans on a day to day basis.
That's what sports is for so many. An escape. A break from bills, to do lists, hospital visits, vehicle repairs, all the things. This team is showing us all things are possible. Neutrals find Notre Dame "likable." Guess what? My grandfather came to his country from Italy and found them likable. Our family has found them likable since 1936. Suddenly the rest of America is having a look at Notre Dame Football in a different way. In a sport that is over 150 years old, a coach that doesn't look like all the rest of the coaches who've been there is going to the National Championship. He doesn't sound like the rest of the coaches. He doesn't make you feel like the rest of the coaches. He's our guy. He's Notre Dame's head coach. Marcus Freeman. "Act like you've been there before."
We get one more evening with them. The biggest evening of them all. Nobody could have possibly imagined it. For over three decades, January was reserved for disappointment and heartbreak. For the closing of recruiting classes leading up to the first Wednesday in February. Now January is creating memories that will last a new generation of Notre Dame fans a lifetime. January is creating new Notre Dame fans. Out of thin air, who have often rooted against them, but have decided that they like this coach. They like this quarterback. They like this TEAM. That is what they are. A group of individuals that compile one unit. They're the sum of many parts. Nobody is bigger than the other. They don't flinch. They don't wait for the other shoe to drop, and when the shoe starts getting lower, they don't LET it drop. This year is different. This year is more. They are the escape, the hope.
They are the best of us.
In Notre Dame,
Jigga
