As far as I can tell I'm the only fan for either team under the age of 60 in all of South Florida. Really really bizarre. The campus game was all men 15 to 55 and now it's all old married couples.

And all the Penn State grannies have my mother-in-law's accent and it's driving me INSANE.
I won’t tell if you want to hook up with one of those PSU gilfs.

Hopefully, MF adds Franklin’s conference obsession to the motivation factor. Not that they’re not motivated but it’s only natural to have a letdown after a program win like UGA. I know MF was ready to get back to game planning but he still seemed pissed after Franklin kept responding to the conference stuff. (NOTE: does Franklin realize OSU didn’t play in CCG?)

Evans should be extra motivated after seeing Warren get all the love (deservedly so BTW)

Mitchell & Faison are from Florida so they gotta be hyped to show out in front of home state.

Mitchell’s brother also plays for PSU so brotherly rival on the line. No idea if he sees the field.

Same. I think it's because UGA was considered the cream of the crop with a higher bluechip ratio than nearly anyone else in the country and multiple recent championships. I thought we had a good chance to win against UGA but there would've been no disappointment if we had lost.

On the other hand, it would be a real shame if ND lost to this PSU team and James freaking Franklin when our ultimate goal is so close.
I think if you guys had the option of which opponent we played after Indiana, UGA or PENN ST….. nearly all of us would take Penn St immediately. It’s alllll just Semi Final nerves

This. While I do think both UGA and PSU are more even than we think, if we play just as we did last week we’ll be fine. I’m sticking with my prediction that we’ll win by two scores, Leonard rushes for 88 and Price goes for 98. In throwing in a defensive TD as well. ND-27 PSU-17

During the regular season, I wanted PSU as an opponent b/c ND was so much better IMO. Now, w/ all the injuries; I’m not as confident. It’s a toss up IMO

Work schedule really boned me. Was in Orlando last week instead of an easy drive over to NOLA. Now in Atlanta instead of South Florida and next week I’m back in Florida when we would be playing here in ATL.
I feel ya brother. Headed back to Chicago from ATL tonight

Injuries + they were gifted two walkover opponents while we had to empty the tank against Georgia. I have an uneasy feeling because of national media hyping up Notre Dame.

Franklin definitely trying to get in Freeman’s head. Trying to piss him off. Discussing his age, talking about his hairline, stating ND should be in a conference. All to his face to get under his skin.

The national media had been hyping OSU after the Tennessee game and didn't seem to affect them at all. And the national media consensus is that OSU will win the title (and the betting odds; giving greater than 50% odds now even before they're in the title game). ND is an afterthought.

Don’t forget that besides a few offensive lineman, Ohio State has had ZERO injuries. They have been very fortunate in that department and right now, this deep in the playoffs, it shows.
