That's how it looked to me too. He was just standing at the mouth of the tunnel, I think praying. And there were Bama players kind of coming and going. Feels like people trying to make a thing out of something that's not a thing.

That factor then makes me wonder if he's at the other end of the QB decision-making conundrum: His head getting in the way of instinctive fast decisions. We had a MACRO case of that here when Coach Kelly first came ---> Dayne Crist. Milroe's not as bad as Crist so there's hope to get that block out of there.

At this point, we cannot go to the portal for a QB, barring some injury in one of the playoff games. Any benefit we would receive from the transfer QB would be canceled out by the loss of trust future QBs had in Freeman.

You limit Milroe's turnovers and lean on the running game. Use his big arm to go deep every other drive to keep the safeties out of the box. He'd be unstoppable here with this team.
