13 LBS isn't that hard it would be great if he can provide 12-15 snaps per game next year as a backup or 3rd string someone behind Rubio Armem

I would think Golden is smart enough to create movement up front to neutralize the size difference without mills in the middle. Kinda like what Indiana was able to do throughout the year. As an OL guy it's much more difficult to play when you're going up against moving parts instead of just being stationary and getting blown up by double teams

Just hope it's not another Tyson Ford situation. He was a decently recruited DE too that we asked to pack on the pounds and move inside, never really worked out.

Same thing happened with Keon Keeley, yet half this board would be thrilled if they could bring Keeley on board.

I'm 100% not calling that person out at all or questioning the info, but it's absolutely crazy that so many big teams offered Tyson Ford only to turn out to be a bust. Looking back at his 247 Profile he had offers from almost every SEC school except Bama and Florida, Texas, OU, Clemson, Michigan, Washington, and then a smattering of mid range programs in the B1G, Big 12, and PAC 12. Did they say he was a missed evaluation as a DT, or just in football in general? It was always my opinion that I thought he worked better as a DE and by bulking up he lost something or he struggled making the transition in positions.

Remember when ford posted “I am definitely playing DE” after he had verbal led to ND.
They must have badgered him to go DT. He should Sue.

For those who didn't follow it closely, I'm pretty sure it was a direct response to our very own NDCrusader/ @BobbyMac who suggested that he could move inside with his skillset package. Then Tyson responded the way he did in that tweet.

He has barely played at ND and could've entered the portal. He hasn't entered the portal and I too hope he has a great off season to see the field this upcoming season.

Hopefully it works out I just wish they woulda left him at DE he looked disruptive at the all American game playing DE even had an INT looked quick and explosive
