McCord definitely on fire! McCord throws for 453 yards, 5 TDs in No. 22 Syracuse’s 52-35 Holiday Bowl win over Washington State
You getting paid by the click? Clickity clacking your cup for these bullshit article?!???
Kid made a lot of money tonight
It’s as simple as “we aren’t looking” but if a good one comes “we couldn’t say no”. Either way it makes the coaches look good. If they’re “not looking” it simply means they can’t get anyone great to come.Driskell and Roberts both saying no way we are taking a QB or even talking to guys. So someone’s way off here. Either they have no clue or the other guy is way off.
Was just getting on here to say the same thing minus the F bomb 🤣 🤣 🤣. Since we are all speculating on the QB situation why not McCord? Looks like he has one year of eligibility left. This is purely hypothetical.(Disclaimer).Fuck it. I want Kyle McCord
This would be a HUGE win for ND if no one leaves, but if ND loses anyone I think it will be younger guys that are buried on the depth chart.Technically NOBODY is leaving the program yet… and with the NCAA deciding eligibility limits aren’t really a thing anymore any time someone hires a lawyer, we might get the entire same roster back next year, plus some transfers.
Back-to-back, baby
Of course people will leave. It's actually fairly impressive that no one (other than Mickey) has yet. Georgia's lost several depth players. Penn State's backup QB is already signed with Mizzou. If Allar goes down they're kinda screwed. This would be a HUGE win for ND if no one leaves, but if ND loses anyone I think it will be younger guys that are buried on the depth chart.
My biggest need for ND is the DL- Cross and Mills are a tandem, if Hinish can be consistent like his brother that will help.
After the season is done and more kids enter the portal I would wait for a bigger name at WR- Fields and Pauling are a nice addition and get 1 more. Williams and Gilbert need to be ready for next season; Williams was college ready by his recruit rankings and Gilbert's film was impressive. Burress made a name for him during his senior season and looks to be college ready.
For QB- Klubnik or bust- Ewers and Milroe are spotty and if they take no one, who ever starts from our current roster will have a great offense to work with.
Players on teams still participating in bowl season (CFP or otherwise) have until 5 days after the end of their season to enter the portal.Portal closes tomorrow right? So if

The question is who we lose. I hope you're right that it's limited to guys who are buried on the depth chart. But, talking about the DL: Onye? And what was the deal with that Rubio smoke a couple weeks ago? And then if we're talking about making a run at Klubnick, you've got to think someone's thinking about making a run at some of our young studs too.
Might want to save some of that NIL budget to play a little defense, is all.
Well according to Driskell and Roberts we aren’t talking to QB’s and no one on the staff has reached out to anyPortal closes tomorrow right? So if

Did they get this information from Tobias Merriweather's family?Well according to Driskell and Roberts we aren’t talking to QB’s and no one on the staff has reached out to any
For real?When transfer
If anyone on the staff had spoken to a potential QB transfer, it'd be tampering. So that has to be the official line. We'll see what happensWell according to Driskell and Roberts we aren’t talking to QB’s and no one on the staff has reached out to any
It’s not tampering when you have non staff members reach out there’s been too much smoke I don’t think Driskell or Roberts have any clue. You have someone posted stuff on 247 which has been accurate, then an article by another reporter yesterday saying Ewers to ND would be a good ideaIf anyone on the staff had spoken to a potential QB transfer, it'd be tampering. That's a good story. Might even be true.Well according to Driskell and Roberts we aren’t talking to QB’s and no one on the staff has reached out to any

I expect some younger kids on our team to leave or some of our high profile kids to be tampered with. It's the new era of college football. Mitchell went from the #1 WR at FIU in 2023 to an addition at ND in 2024. Fields was the #1 WR at Virginia this past season , while we have young guys in the waiting at WR for next season; Williams/Gilbert need to see the field in 2025 and can Fields replicate what he did at Virginia next year at ND?Portal closes tomorrow right? One trouble with giving a high school kid the richest NIL deal ever is that once he gets on the field and doesn’t suck he’ll demand an even richer one.Not ND related per se but Tennessee is about to be going through it in the portal it would seem.
Top receiver is entering and Nico is apparently demanding more compensation or he’ll walk.

I saw that story. Does Tennessee have any more NIL money to share? Nico has a nice pay check, if he is demanding more- share. Not ND related per se but Tennessee is about to be going through it in the portal it would seem.

This is why there should be a salary cap or very least a luxury tax. I can't imagine colleges wanting players to set the market every year.I saw that story. Does Tennessee have any more NIL money to share? Nico has a nice pay check, if he is demanding more- share.
Agreed! Some of these kids will test the market every year, some free agents aren't worth it.This is why there should be a salary cap or very least a luxury tax. I can't imagine colleges wanting players to set the market every year.

NO!
Once there's a cap, there will be cheating and the SEC will re-gain its advantage.
What they need is multi-year contracts.
I think you mean parity……we already have enough parody 😊Cap doesn't cause cheating, it will cause parody while certainly regulating a market.
Tax will eliminate cheating and ruin parody, but can regulate a market because there's a punishment attached to it for buying the top earners.
