Cover 3 used to be the absolute best daily cfb podcast. It has become unbearable. Chip is beyond annoying and Fornelli is incredibly arrogant.

Its tough to find a CFB pod that isnt just dominated by SEC propaganda. Used to like Josh Pate, but he's gone down hill since blowing up.

Usually listen to the Solid Verbal guys. Dan and Ty are pretty dorky but they know their stuff and arent tied to SEC bias like other pods.

Cover 3 is still the best IMO but it has gone down since Barton left.

SVP Pod is good assuming you like SVP. Stanford Steve’s and the Bear was good before Bear left.

Split Zone Duo is the best but not for like on field football analysis.

Pate is literally just an aggregator of 247 headlines. Good if you need like a weekly update of big things that but just feels like listening to a robot. He’s a 247, CBS, Fanduel monkey.

Agree on Cover 3 going downhill, every one of those guys is very devoted to their shtick to an insufferable degree but it’s still good national coverage. Godfrey leaving Split Zone Duo is probably going to really hurt that show too. Slim pickings for good national college football shows

Agreed, but Maiava and SC's receivers are legit. SC maybe an average team, but they have a dynamic offense and Maiava throws a crazy good long ball. Georgia isn't close to that level, even with Beck. Rubio and Hinish need to be dudes on new years

If Beck were playing it’d be more of an issue b/c even w/ his lack of wheels, he didn’t get sacked much. Love Hinish’s motor but I also recall him getting trucked in the run game a lot. UGA has the biggest OL he will have seen. That’s not a good matchup when UGA is running between the tackles.

I occasionally listen to Andy & Ari. I’ve always liked Andy Staples takes. He gets CFB from a global perspective. Even though he’s a former UF walk-on, he is just as dialed into ND, B1G, ACC, G5, etc as he is SEC. Ari kinda grew on me once he got off the OSU beat. He got invited on the Feinbaum Show after the 1st round games but Paul didn’t want to hear his logic about UT getting run out of the building w/ nary a word from PAWWWWL about them not belonging.

Ticket prices are tanking, just got offered tickets in the Crown Royal Signature Club for face. I can't seem to figure out why, other than UGA is saving their money for the Natty in ATL.

Yeah I don’t think most people can afford to go to a bunch of neutral site games week after week. It’s just no realistic for most people. I’m personally saving my money to go to the national title

Solid Verbal is top tier IMO. Both of them are still just dudes who love the sport. They have their favorite teams (with Ty loving ND which is great), but they are college football fans making a pod like they are fans and it’s how many years in.

I would too if I wasn’t a fan. NFL talent is usually a safe pick. Hence why we beat Indiana. Regular season games these teams often lose here and there (NIU, Vandy, etc) but in the playoffs, when it’s all on the line, NFL talent usually wins out.
