You guys remember when we faced NC State in 2017? Two highly ranked teams. ND with the dominant running game. NC State with one of the top ranked rushing defenses and a solid passer/WR combo in Ryan Finley/Kelvin Harmon? Yeah, we know how that turned out. 318 rushing yards and a 35-14 win. Give me 34-14 due to a missed XP (sorry Jeter).

Game is 7-7 at the half. The big fatties start playing F@ck You football and make it 21-7. IU scores midway through the 4th but fails on the 2pt conversion. Irish run out the clock with an 8 minute drive.

We win by low double digits. Game is never in doubt during the 4th quarter but we give up a late touchdown as seems to be our annoying pattern (GA Tech, Virginia, USC, and probably more that I'm forgetting about).

Shit, some of us are terrible, myself included lol. I have two points this year. I'm here for ya'lls entertainment.

Last year, our co-champions won with just 4 points out of 12 games, or 33%.

This year, guys are doing slightly better, at 5/12. But I make it hard on purpose. Taking away the funny "A-Camp option" at the bottom of the poll most weeks, which is usually ludicrous (USC 100+ for example), it's a 9-answer multiple choice question.

In all seriousness, I won't be shocked if Cignetti has a "kitchen sink" script for the opening drive. And usually Golden takes a drive or two to make his adjustments.

All I know is that ND better protect the football tonight. ND shooting themselves in the foot, imo, is the only way IU wins this game.

I remember being at the Notre Dame Michigan game when Notre Dame shut them out 37 to 0. I did not feel comfortable until I saw Devon Gardner laying on the ground after a pick six in the clock hit zero. After that game a lot of my PTSD wore off.

I was there...didn't that pick 6 get called back? I feel like I was at a game where ND blew someone up and got a pick six to end it...but it came off the board.
