Pure curiosity and not trying to be combative.....but why?
Basically what was already called out. He has the mobility to not be one dimensional. He’s had some nice reviews from former players too & supposedly has a very powerful arm. We’ve seen Angeli and I’ve been impressed with him. Just don’t see him as a CFP caliber QB.
I would hate to get to the point where we lose two QBs and are stuck with a transfer and a true freshman as the only QBs on the roster. Literally the worst possible outcome that has real potential of happening.

You can't be willing to pay this kid and not willing to pay the best corner in the country to come back.

I don’t think it would be wise to pay either. Morrison is coming off a significant injury and surgery. Chances of him being back to normal next year probably aren’t great.

We have Grey and Moore. Too much capital at CB.
I understand who we have but we dont have anybody like him is the thing. Lou never cared about having Taylor, Carter, Wooden, Clark or Covington, the depth is what seperates the elites.

The “elites” don’t have depth anymore, definitely not in the secondary.

Wasn’t a guarantee he would start next year so he’s bouncing.

He’d likely not be confident in NDs WR development and generally be concerned about the passing game.
That’s why ND would have to drop the biggest bag. Programs like Miami, Oklahoma, and A&M have landed several recruits and portal players they had no business landing, given their on-field record or production at certain positions, because they dropped the biggest bag. That’s no guarantee he’d come here, as those schools haven‘t gotten every recruit or portal player they’ve dropped the biggest bag for, but if ND does that then they’ll land more players than they would have otherwise.

Chad just recently followed Jackson Arnold not sure if it means much.
I am probably in the minority here, but I like this one. Oklahoma offense/ OC did him zero favors. Numerous years left. High upside. Bring him in to compete with the current QBs. Whoever wins, wins.

means absolutely nothing.
You say that like 50% of kids who sign still flip. It's probably like 1% so means a lot. Also kid was so awful he was benched for a 3* true freshman that also proved to be awful.

But let's write this kid a giant check to compete with 2 more experienced qb's who've shown better at the college level and our 5* talent because y'all like new toys regardless of how shiny or not shiny in this case.
