Yeah holding the players accountable by being on time and ensuring their health with nutrients and technology is creating a culture problem? Who is this source?

LSU just seems rotten to the core if the players can’t do simple responsible tasks that are in their own best interest.
For sure. But also maybe Kelly got so accustomed to shopping down a certain aisle that he forgot how to cook other kinds of food, and that different cuisines call for different methods of cooking.

(the source was described as a former assistant of BKs, btw.)

I'm old so don't relate, I guess, but I'd think that if some of your studs don't think their sh!t stinks, and begin acting that way, that starts splitting the team. Everybody laughs about RKG, but I always valued RKG teammates. Hell, you never could be sure of the team orientation of the (literally) individual centered player, nor therefore the effort in any given situation (not every selfish bastard is Jordan, who just won because ... .) For sure you couldn't count on the me-me guy taking any responsibility to improve his "Rolls-Royce Self." So I'm not surprised that a school which doesn't have that extra character-culling element which ND typically has, has given our old (naive) coach problems. .. rotten apples don't have to be a HIGH percentage to screw things up. Just a few of those you're counting on is plenty enough.

You could even argue it only takes ONE crazy person to control the mood of the entire room, ask any school teacher or prison guard and they would probably agree.

Yep. I've seen that. In college I could just throw him out, and show the rest of the students how life really goes --- most teachers and job leaders don't have quite that much leeway. But I remember a guy who did it anyway: Lou Holtz at Arkansas. Coach Lou had a bunch of bad actors (in key team positions --- something like 5-7 or more) and he left that entire crowd home for the bowl game. Lou had a good grasp of his team's character and they went out and won despite the left-behinds.

If BK was the coach of this team, they would get beat in the first round playoff game, and it wouldn't matter if it was Bama or ASU.

If Brian Kelly was the coach we would have crushed NIU...

..but we would have lost to TexasAM, Louisville and USC
Funny. I went through the schedule and had definitel losses to a&m and usc. Louisville was a toss up for me. Either way, we’d be on the outside looking in at the playoffs. Kudos to Freeman for getting us to the playoffs

As I was leaving the bar I was watching the game at here in New Orleans, there were a bunch of LSU fans who were like "Can you guys take BK back please? We'll give him to you for free?"
My hometown. Nice. Miss it dearly. What bar?

Yeah, BK, you go ahead and keep “taking receipts…”. We’re in year 3 and we’ve already had “Fire Kelly” chants breakout. Let’s just kick the can down the road another year or so.

How about you start with grabbing an OC — the Georgia Tech guy looks solid.

BK will make coaching changes this offseason. It's what he does when his back is against the wall.

I believe the term is “keeping receipts.”

Dude can’t even talk smack right.

Strength of schedule is such a moving target that I don't buy into it unless you tell me how it is calculated. If it is based on rankings at the time of the game, or current rankings, it is subjective trash based on name recognition and bullshit preconceptions about conference strength.

If SOS is based on advanced metrics using opponent-weighted stats, outcomes against the spread, etc. then I would put more faith in it. But in this case, it doesn't even matter which metrics you use. LSU lost to four undisciplined, multi-loss teams and looked bad doing it. I don't think SOS is the right tree for Bayou Brian to bark up. His team kind of sucks.

Did you watch the video? His comments had nothing to do with LSU. He was commenting about the impact on SEC bubble teams chances as it relates to getting in the playoff.
