Do you know how many of my kids toys, scooters, and shit I’ve taken directly to the shin and was still able to walk back and forth from the couch and/or patio to the fridge for a beer without missing a beat?

Dudes are soft these days.
What a man won't do for his couch and his beer. Way to take one for the team.🤣🤣

His combination of power, speed, blocking ability, and catching ability is something else. They kept showing his hurdle, which was super impressive (the landing was crazy soft also) but they didn't show what he did at the end of that run in planting at USC defender.

I don't know about comparing, but I get the same anticipation when he takes a handoff as I did when Reggie Brooks took one. Off the top of my head, I think Reggie was something like 8.0 yards per carry, but I could be way off.

That being said, we are incredibly blessed to have JD Price also. Losing a weapon like Love would normally be devastating in a close game like this, but having JD come in and have 100 yards on 8 carries and being the home run threat he is, was crucial.

Back to the real heroes being O Line. I am an O Line coach, so I know where the real magic happens. Not to take anything away from the backs, but the O Line has a lot more to figure out each play than the backs do. If the O Line doesn't do their job, the same stud backs are 10 carries for 22 yards. Not taking anything away from our stud backs, but to just give massive credit to our O Line, TE's, coach Rudolph and his assistants!

The o line has done a great job improving through out the season.

Our passing offense needs to improve across the board. QB, WR, O line in that order.

I think the passing offense is what it is at this point in the season. I would like to see the WRs reduce their drops (Collins especially). Leonard’s running threat is very important to this offense right now.

The way we spread the ball between our backs (and rightfully so), Love won't win many NCAA awards, but he'll win the NFL draft!

The fact that he was clearly trying to come back in would suggest it's not all that bad. Let's hope so anyway.

If he’s out we won’t make a run we can win the round one game no problem with Price and Williams but I don’t see us going much further

He's our best player, hands down so given the interest can we provide links to any alleged update? Not trying to sound smug at all but just think it's best for whatever news comes next.
Tbh I don't think you will hear any real news until the playoff field is set. There is precedent to not reveal injury information. May hear some good news, but even that will be cagey.

If they were worried about a significant knee injury I really doubt they would have allowed him to move around like he was,… hard to fathom. I coached on high school teams where the medical team wouldn’t allow that

Saw something on bleacher report saying he has a MRI today with the concern being related to meniscus.
Not targeted at you, more at bleacher report:
A) They always do MRIs. Very common.
B) They may get lucky, and it’s a meniscus, but Bleacher Report is garbage & just throws things against the wall & sometimes it sticks.

Listening to OT by Irish Illustrated, both Tim's are adamant his lower leg was wrapped, not knee or ankle. They said it wouldn't make any sense it being knee or ankle based on wrap. Then make the point that if you get hit right on shin, you don't need to break something to be in serious pain.

J Love stayed with helmet on and moving around fine. I'm optimistic he's going to be ok.
