Typically, Service Academies lack size on the lines. They just don’t have those monster, powerful guys. They aren’t going to be able to contain or control RL’s athleticism and Love’s speed and elusiveness.

I don’t worry too much about the offense today, I think the talent difference will be always present and our worst enemy on that side of the ball will be ourselves.

On the defensive side of the ball there is reason to be concerned. Not that I don’t trust in Golden or his plan, but that Army has shown a level of success with this year’s option system. I think they use the clock to keep it closer than we want, but I think we will show a consistency on offense to offset their performance.

remember everybody that we have a great double header on NBC when our 6th ranked wbb team takes on 4th ranked USC at 4 pm just before the football game

Going to yankee stadium for my first ND game this year. Anyone planning big tailgates at the stadium? Gonna start on the UES I think

NYC weather seems to be holding up ok today. 45 degrees, no rain, wind around 10mph.
I think it’s important because both teams will sell out to control the run and whoever can execute the passing game will win.
Pretty sure that team will be us.

Army OL is as big as ours. DL is smaller and they play a 3-3-5 so only three big guys on D. Nose tackle is 310, other two 275-285. Definitely think we can handle their front. Lbs have good size but looked pretty slow vs NTexSt

Doubt it. Just last week I heard tails of a forge like your about to be calibrimbor making the one ring. Now an axe. My man you need to focus.

Army was held to 14 points by North Texas who is not known for their defense so I would sure hope we can match that performance.

Army has scored 20 and 14 points in their last 2 games against Air Force and North Texas.

They've played 1 team with a defensive FEI ranking above 90th. That was Rice at 73rd.

ND is 2nd in the nation in defensive FEI.

Hinish and Mills are both playing at a high level, and you got Rubio and Mukam behind them.

You definitely need Cross back for the playoff, and ideally before that for USC, because Marks is a pretty damn good back.

But they should be able to handle Army with what they have. I also hope last week was the wake-up call for Oben to finally start playing like we expected him to be. He was arguably the best player on defense last week.
