He is visiting Michigan this weekend, hence why he reposted that pic. I’m sure he will do the same thing for ND next weekend

Really good vibes coming from Wu for Michigan. Visited twice this season. He’s often overly complimentary and hyped with every visit he goes on, but the “it’s a family” angle seems to be the quotes Holland is basing it off of.

Wu still has ND on tap this weekend. And likely the same article will be written about Wu and ND: Fit, Family, etc.

It’s pretty solely a ND/Mich battle.

Michigan has a crap LB room so they can pitch early playing time. ND doesn’t have a crap LB room but rotates and plays five linebacker, four of which are consistently in the 25-30 snap range.

I understand why a lot of the ND beat has been hesitant since the summer for Wu to ND. He loves (and publicly) everything so you never know where he stands.

BIG weekend coming up.

Is he only doing visits or is he also playing football, at least practicing? Because he hasn’t recorded a single stat for IMG and AFAIK he isn’t injured

I'd like to know wtf is up here as well. Have any of the reporters asked him about his season or what's going on? That used to be the standard part of the update.

If it's not injury related, that's a potential red flag imo.

Houston Griffith was one of our last img kids who put up stats that made you question the take, even with him only playing parts of games.

He was injured back in September so that may still be the case. Not sure what the injury was/is. Maybe HS seniors who are already highly recruited may sit out the rest of their season to reduce the likelihood of further injury before college, especially since NIL will be in play. I hope that is not the case.

Hot take: those hs seniors who sit out become college cancers for the teams they'll work for.

Then they can just sit out their college career so they don’t get injured before they go pro. Sounds like a great idea.

Agree. Losing the year of experience and then trying to take the jump to college level is a recipe for failure.
Amazing how these primadonnas think that they will just step in and be so much better than guys who were stars in HS and actually put in their time at the college level.
Let him catch one hit from a SR RT and it is lights out

It’s always amazing to me how a bunch of middle aged dudes talk about high school kids on an Internet forum, ESPECIALLY given the fact there’s a good chance he’ll someday suit up for their favorite team.

Y’all are something.

Is this his only year at IMG? According to his profile he went to DeMatha before? I'd imagine that's pretty good high school football?

I have no idea what his plans are and doubt he is sitting out to avoid injury.

You do realize this a forum dedicated almost entirely to talking about high school and college kids.

I get it, context is hard.

It’s not that we talk about them, it’s how comfortable some guys are with how they talk about these kids.

In this thread alone, once Thomas Loy and Wiltfong started hinting that NOB may be leaning toward scUM, we already started with the backdoor dismissals of him as a player and prospect and making wild assumptions that he’s sitting out his entire season due to NIL lol.

It happens every time and this guy is literally still coming for a visit.
