Simple. The moment parents get to choose where their child goes to school and they get vouchers they can use at private schools, the teachers union loses much of its political power and its ability to indoctrinate kids and advance the leftist/woke narrative of the last 20-30 years.

Sure, Rachel…. I’m surprised that you’re not upset over DEI. Anyway, I’m disappointed by the outcome but it’s probably not going to affect me personally. But I am sad for our country. Any Republican would have won this election but the majority of Republicans wanted Trump and that tells me that GOP “moral superiority” over the “degenerate” Democrats should never be brought up again.

Implementing Project 2025 will probably affect me but I’ve been assured, by people on this board, that Trump would never adopt any of its policies. I am not sure how the law works. I believe Presidents have to leave their roles with companies when they take office. I am not sure if Musk takes a cabinet position if the same holds true. I would doubt he would take a position then if that is the case and maybe just consult.

I'm actually a bit uncomfortable with it. I really like Elon. He is like Steve Jobs and Henry Ford. But he has gone over the top with Trump to a degree.
