Texas A&M is averaging 232/game and 5.62 ypc to Georgia Tech's 204 yards/game and 5.46 YPC
Fair. I predict ND struggles more w/ GT run than they did w/ aTm run mostly based on fact that King is a good passer but great runner. If Pyron plays that’s another story but I think we see King. His legs aren’t what was injured. They’ll wrap up his shoulder/arm/elbow & roll him out there. Even at less than 100%, he’s a better option than Pyron.

Key is being pretty cagey about his QB.

He said it was "good to see [King] back out at practice" today but didn't say whether or not he actually practiced.

Prob won't know his status until game time.

So rolling the dice on whether King is an October Surprise for ND - "He's back and he's spectacular!!"
Or they are stringing the ND along while doing a decade of Hail Mary's, looking for a miracle.

My money is they know that he will not be at close to good, they will try and he will come out early.

Noticed the same thing.

Here was a tweet by a Rivals guy who covers Ga Tech recruiting. Seems like coach is trying to mislead as well as he can without lying. All we know is that he attended practice.

If he’s not practicing at all today seems pretty unlikely he can go Saturday. Good news for us.

ND fans always talk about backups lighting ND up. It’s like the Junior Jabbie myth. Dude had like 50 yards in the spring game, and every year it grows to 500.
In recent memory, when people talk about nobody QB’s lighting ND up, who?
It’s actually the opposite. ND has held some elite QBs in check.
The last situation like this I remember was when Brendan Armstrong was sat against ND & they (UVA) scored 3 points.

When something is this hyped it usually ends up being a non-issue. I bet he plays w/ no ill effects of his shoulder (or whatever body part) injury.

ND needs to avoid missed tackles. Those two waterbug WR have racked up YAC all season off screen plays.

Tech is wearing all white. Assume we simply wear our regular home blues?

Roof will be open according to GT. Doubt Jeter is healthy enough to kick, so they’ll probably only attempt shorter FG w/ the backup.

I mean this guy might be a Michigan plant. If the stat nerd goes down with a non contact acl on the sideline I’ll know the fix is in.

A lot of knee injuries..might want to see if Tonya Harding or Jeff Gilooly are involved...
