Assuming one of Minchey/Angeli stay to battle Carr while the other leaves, that would leave the 2025 QB room as:

Carr
Angeli or Minchey
Knight (injured)

So only two healthy QBs if we're lucky to have one of Angeli/Minchey stay. Unless Buchner hops on scholarship as 3rd string.
I wonder how close to graduation Steve is? I am sure he wants to play, but I would think at this point, the degree from ND, then transfer to some place with a better chance at playing would be his best case scenario. Would be interesting to do all the work to get that close to the finish line, only to try to play QB at Miami of Ohio for 2 years. No offense to that school.

He will be eligible to grad transfer after this year

Babe percentage has drastically improved in recent years IMO. Maybe it was just because it was a hot weekend when I was there for the Miami game but it was actually pretty noticeable.

Sat next to a group of 7 or 8 sorority girls all in tiny skirts. Ones ass was out half the game. Was much more interesting to watch than our anemic offense.
BS..those were probably SMC chicks

If that were to come to pass. We’d need to take a transfer that might be willing to come to the university, knowing in advance he’d be a backup. But someone who understands the university, the program, it’s culture. Maybe someone who isn’t the hero we deserve, but is the hero we need right then. Maybe someone like…
Buchner is already on the roster.

Offense taken but to Angeli. He could very well start at a lower tier Power 4 school like a Purdue, Pittsburgh or Michigan

Loy is getting downvoted like crazy lol

He says this is practically over and his CB remains on Auburn as DK is already acting like apart of the class, etc.

lol I joined he only talks about the Auburn perspective and expects not to get shit on. He didn’t even bring up the visit to the Stanford game until someone bashed him for it. It’s like these companies don’t realize that the main reason for these subscriptions is recruiting. I’m tired of IB and I love II but it’s getting frustrating. To cope I have just come to the conclusion that we don’t recruit anymore lol.

Big update from the Auburn site

I talked to one of the big dogs that cut the QB sized checks yesterday morning. His confidence in Deuce was very low. Something flipped in the last 12-ish hours...

Last night, I was told things were sitting better with Juju than they had ever been and they expected a public flip to Auburn "within the next day or two"

My guess is DK was told of this and decided to go ahead and commit to Auburn. I will be surprised if we don't have one of them on the board before UGA kicks.

I canceled my 247 account. I now use my Illinois buddies account. Can read, just can't post on ND page. II has been AWFUL. I've stood up for him more than most, but Tom Loy is a tool. No question

The best thing II provides is a free podcast. Sinclair and Thomas are really bad with the recruiting side of things.

I don't subscribe to any of the sites but it sounds like Loy has been right the entire time. Seriously, why the hate for the dude?

what are DK's HS stats this year? how are they stacking up vs. other high profile QB recruits in the class?

I've only followed knight's games a bit on Twitter, but haven't seen anything eye popping.

Gino should go see the Hawaiian Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele during the bye. Keep an eye out where he, Bowden and Freeman are traveling to at the end of this week and that'll tell us who their backup(s) are.

They are on MaxPreps……I don’t remember the specifics but they looked pretty pedestrian (I don’t think his team overall is all that good either).

Because of his lack of accountability. When he's right, he likes to spike the football and rub it in. Especially against a fan base he worked with for years. But when he's wrong, it's just a "Things changed." Little man syndrome
