It appears that Deuce may not have been blowing smoke up Freeman's ass when he told the staff that he was solid and the trips to war eagle are about the money.

Respect the hustle there. Kid made more money in one month on trips that i have in my whole professional career.

It was truly a ND Auburn battle and sound like Auburn is moving on to JuJu and expecting to get him to commit this week.

Side note - supposedly Auburn is very worried he torn something and will not be ready to play
That’s fine he can sit for years behind CJ. Learn the offense. Heal up. Come out in 2027 all tanned rested and ready.

Juju has always been about the bag and has always been higher on the Auburns board than Deuce. Supposedly Juju was asking for a crazy number and Auburn wasnt willing to meet it... I guess they are now.

Anyone read anything on what exactly he injured? I had written him off so didnt even bother following. Sounds like cope from Auburn side, as I read multiple boards today that said they liked Deuce more than Juju.

Regardless, Auburn expecting a kid as raw as him to start as a true freshman in the SEC is just begging for failure.

Reports from the Auburn beat, Ole Miss wasn't and isn't in the running here. This rumors aren't true and Deuce hasn't been reciprocating the interest at all. It sounds more like they are aren't even in the picture then them being a distant third.

Babe percentage has drastically improved in recent years IMO. Maybe it was just because it was a hot weekend when I was there for the Miami game but it was actually pretty noticeable.

Sat next to a group of 7 or 8 sorority girls all in tiny skirts. Ones ass was out half the game. Was much more interesting to watch than our anemic offense.
GATTACA just admitted he was old and his standards have dropped.

I kid. Maybe you were sitting by the few dimes ND is bringing in. (Insert Rudy speech about Notre Dame being for smart and wealthy folks).

All my complaints aside, generations of proper breeding will make ND the place to be. Wealthy men do tend to marry up on the attractiveness scale. Genes.

Idk I'm only 31 so I like to think my babedar is still pretty finely tuned. It was like 92 that day though so I could have just been hallucinating.

If that were to come to pass. We’d need to take a transfer that might be willing to come to the university, knowing in advance he’d be a backup. But someone who understands the university, the program, it’s culture. Maybe someone who isn’t the hero we deserve, but is the hero we need right then. Maybe someone like…
So help me God if we ever put ourselves in a position to have Drew Pyne (or someone like him) be one injury away from being QB1 again...

Juju is maxed out and will be fresh prey in a major conference

So I know we've been warned about Texas potentially getting involved. Any chance USC throws a bag if/when Lewis switches his pledge?

This soap opera of multiple Auburn visits aside. Deuce being hurt is another red flag for me, especially if it's for an extended period of time. While it was great and all that he was tearing up 7on7's and the elite 11 this summer, we have yet to see him consistently produce in season...

give me production over potential all day.

I know someone mentioned that they weren't really paying attention anymore due to the fact that he was probably gone. Do we know what happened to him?

I don't know if this is true or not, it was said by an Auburn poster and not a moderator. But he said he knows someone close to the matter and the Knights aren't providing Auburn or anyone with details on the extent of his injury and that is a turn off to Auburn. Again take it with a grain of salt since it was some random poster who said it.
Ah, yes. They paid him to visit 359 times because they are super concerned about his health and are losing interest.

This won't matter, seeing as he isn't needed right away if he ends up at ND. Bring him in and develop him. You absolutely take him based on traits alone.

Isn't that sort of the best-case scenario, assuming his injury is one he can recover from? He isn't healthy enough to immediately start somewhere else, doesn't need to start at ND and if it doesn't work out, they have Grubbs to take over after Carr.

ding ding ding. Also, maybe injury makes him realize he needs to be ready for the future and have contingency plans like an education

Yeah unless he’s getting something amputated who gives a shit? He shouldn’t see the field for ND for 3 years either way.

Assuming one of Minchey/Angeli stay to battle Carr while the other leaves, that would leave the 2025 QB room as:

Carr
Angeli or Minchey
Knight (injured)

So only two healthy QBs if we're lucky to have one of Angeli/Minchey stay. Unless Buchner hops on scholarship as 3rd string.

It is weird that there is absolutely nothing out there about his injury. Can't even find an article about what he actually injured. Certainly feels like its being purposely hidden.

Or Auburn beat is grasping at straws.
