There are over 100,000 schools in the US. The most recent event in your precious database of 417 shootings over the last 25 years

"Joppatowne High School in Joppa, Md.0 dead1 injured 770 children present in school
A 16-year-old student shot and wounded a 15-year-old student in a bathroom."

"March 26, 2024Charleston Junior/Senior High School in Charleston, Mo.0 dead0 injured300 children present in school
A 14-year-old male showed a handgun and then it discharged following an altercation in the men's restroom."

You say "Columbine" like there were 417 Columbines when reality is the vast majority were not mass shooting events. Parking lot altercations and one on one violence predominate upon quick perusal. They are just bringing the neighborhood violence into the school - you think these kids aren't doing these things in the streets too?

Saying 343k kids have experienced gun violence is pretty absurd when all 770 students in Joppatown get to be victims of the one-on-one bathroom incident that very well could have been a kid defending himself from a bully. Its the COLUMBINE2.0 fear that creates the trauma. EVERY student does shooting drills and is affected for the one or two in 100,0000 real incidents per year. Rather than institutionalize the known crazies or god forbid arm qualified teachers- lets traumatize our entire population.
So no biggy, then, that there have been 417 reported school shootings in the past 25 years? And when a kid does get shot in school, it has zero affect on the other students in the school who didn’t get shot. Good to know. Thanks for the keen insight on the psyche of school students as they over-react to their classmates getting gunned down in the same building where they spend five days a week. I worked with dozens of people whose children attended Joppatown HS in Md. Next time I see them, I’ll let them know that their stress and fear about sending their kids to school is unfounded and irrational. 🙄

My dude woke up and said, "Let me minimize school shootings and get these teachers armed."

Remember folks, we’re supposed to want to deport 11 million immigrants because even one death caused by an illegal is too much to stomach, but school shootings are just a part of life. Nothin we can do about those!

DEI is bad.....but! Let's do DEI on crime!

Remember how bad it was that the US couldn't help Afghani informants leave the country when the Taliban seized control? Now, let's remove Haitian immigrants here who followed the process and are working in the community but they're taking jobs!

Sounds like you're advocating for investing in mental health resources as well as our public education system and teachers

Remember when Rittenhouse dropped a few rioters and they just so happened to be scum of the earth? Weird

My dude woke up and said, "Let me minimize school shootings and get these teachers armed."

You left out "institutionalizing crazies" - my kids know who the crazies are in their schools and I'd bet those Maryland folks kids weren't surprised by the actors in their drama. They also know who the drug dealing gang bangers are - substantially higher probability of getting shot associating with certain people and it ain't the chess team.

What the data says about gun deaths in the U.S.

Might blow your mind to know that piles of gun violence is perpetrated by teens outside of school too. I had a dude blow his head off half a block from my home growing up, took a while for the blood to wash away. Known crazy, most were relieved he didn't take anyone with him.

Pants wetting libs can't comprehend real risk in life. Drunk lib wine moms ignore their kid at the pool while clutching pearls over school shootings. 2021 had 103 people die from "mass shootings" while something like 4000 people died from drowning. That is all mass shootings - I'm not sorting for schools only.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/05/youth-suicide-rates-rose-62percent-from-2007-to-2021.html

Gee look at that increase as we scare the shit out of kids thinking they are getting gunned down and need to chop their dicks or tits off. This is your "progress"

Me and my people must live rent free in your's, bishop's and Trump's heads with the way you manage to bring in trans people to every topic. Topic is school shootings and somehow that blames is being passed to trans people. Topic is immigrants, well they're giving trans surgeries to immigrants. I bet you and ol boy from North Carolina have the same favorite category on porn hub

How can there be a "mental health crisis" and then anyone who gets therapy is a coddled simp. So many ex-wives would be "wives" if they sought out help.

When did I claim to be nice? People are mean to me all the time and I don't cry to my therapist about it.

Please tell us more about what Harris has done that we should be up in arms then? She hasn't tried to overturn an election and continue to spread falsehoods about the election. She hasn't been convicted of 34 felonies and have 4 other pending cases. The national guard want deployed under her watch to stop protesters. He's and her family didn't over take DNC for her own political gain. She hasn't stolen a bunch of secret government documents, then stored them in her own private residence, show them off to people who don't have proper security clearance, and then refuse to return them.

Please tell us more about what she has done that we should be hold her accountable for like we are with Donald?
1) Dems should be more up in arms than R's on Kamala. In 2020, she was the least popular candidate and first to drop out. She didn't win a primary and she was selected, not elected, to run for president when the Dems realized Biden didn't have a chance after that debate.

2) She was VP of an administration whose policies led to a 40 year high inflation rate.

3) She was deemed the border czar and completely disregarded all US immigration law to import millions of illegals.

4) It appears she can't form a coherent sentence that isn't scripted or memorized.

5) She is from San Francisco, and that city gets a little worse every year (homelessness and crime rising, middle class being pushed out).

6) She is on video stating her support for taxpayer funded transgender surgeries for prisoners, because holy cow that's a huge problem to tackle?

7) She keeps saying she will bring down costs on everything, but her admin's policies got us here 3 years ago. We've seen no plans or policies that would change anything from her side.

Agreed dems should be up in arms. Neither one of these two should be our candidates to represent us. We have two of the worst imaginable candidates to choose between.

Harris is definitely winning if this is the big hit list.

First point is really interesting to me. It is pretty well documented at this point that Dems control their primary in pretty unsavory ways from Hillary to the current zero votes registered nominee. Complain about Trump all you want - he beat out a lot of competitors in 2016 and 2024 fair and square. Hillary, Biden and Harris are all terrible candidates - it's pretty much people in glass houses throwing stones to say how terrible Trump is while that band of douchenozzles is what you put up against him.

Zero push back on the undemocratic process - really comes off as mindless sheep happy with whatever daddy tells them to like.

Manchin putting country over party here, but the reality is 48 Democrats in the Senate did not oppose wrecking the filibuster for a partisan bomb of legislation.

The other sane one:

Agreed, the changes to the filibuster rules over the last 20 has been greatly detrimental for the country in my opinion. Scary to see this kind of support for it.

The way the DNC anointed Hillary over who the people clearly wanted in Bernie, should've caused so much more outrage at their unsavory practices. I'm really curious what would've happened in the Republican primary if we saw Trump debate the rest of the candidates.

If the majority of voters in 5 swing states don't prioritize the economy and the border, Harris will likely win.
Stock market finished on 4 day record high, you gotta now credit the strong economy because it’s future looking to a Trump win. Get with the new messaging!
