I'm confused. You called Brady a great Game Manager. I would argue that he's about the most opposite of a Game Manager as you can get.
I called him a game manager because I watched him play football in college when he was a game manager.

It's the baseline.

I actually think he looked better throwing today, but the bar is pretty low.
By far his best day throwing the football and he only put up 150 yards and a TD on an 0-3 MAC team. Says a lot really. I think they should have a package designed for him to utilize his running ability though.

It’s pretty remarkable how one 38 yard pass stops his stat line from reading 4.64/yds/att.

To be fair, a lot of average QB’s have one or two throws a game that get them to respectable numbers like 7-8 yds/att. Riley needs one just to get above 6.

Man, he just leaves so much more to be desired. Today was better, but it was an average throwing performance. ND can't have an average passer and expect to make the CFP. Leonard hasn't shown enough to assert some confidence in many that he can beat Louisville, Georgia Tech or USC with his arm.

Obviously RF was Freeman’s choice in the portal and had someone pony up 2 mil for him. Otherwise this “going down with him” attitude doesn’t make sense. Not sure how this choice to play the 1 yr mercenary is advancing the program.

I mean. If he can average nearly 300 total yards and 3 touchdowns, sure. Will he be able to do that against everyone? Maybe?

But something just feels off. Long stretches of bad play. Three and outs. Very easy missed throws. Dumb turnovers.

There’s just a ton of bad juju on offense right meow.

If he could have fixed the bad but easy throws he has a good game. If he doesn’t fumble in the long run he has a nice game. If they called more run plays for him he has a nice game. He made a few excellent throws while missing some easy ones. I think those were in the first half. He’s got to run more to exist in this offense.
