That's what I think, some players aren't overly concerned how bad a team is playing in a given season. It might mean earlier playing time for you. Manti is a great example, he visits at the end of the season for a snow game with Syracuse, we're tanking on the season and end up losing that game too. People think he's gone, but he signs all the same.

Me too. Me and two buddies drove up from Terredise on a whim in his dodge stealth, just had on hoodies and jeans. Didn’t check the weather, got north of Indy and were like wtf with all the snow. Spent our money on a couple cases of beer. Drank most the beer. Scalped tickets. Proceeded to watch us lose to Cuse. Drank the rest of the beer. Went and slept it off in a parking lot near where we parked.

Still to this day cannot believe Manti committed after that debacle. If he was at the Marshall game, then he’s been a part of the three worst ND games I’ve ever attended.

$100k might be a drop in a bucket but you probably don't accumulate that kind of wealth wasting money. If I had to guess, any $100k bonus payment would be contingent on actually attending Auburn.

This stuff is insane though, I really hope it settles down after enough donors/collectives get burned.

You don’t accumulate that kind of money saving your earnings either. Being a billionaire has absolutely nothing to do with good money management skills. No one saved up to be a billionaire, no one.
